All of these photos are of historical homesteads and buildings that are found along the landscape in Cades Cove, Tennessee. Cades Cove was once known as "Kate's Cove", named after an Indian Chiefs Wife. Native Americans and later European Settlers lived in the Cove for generations before the National Park came in and took over. The Park continues to try and preserve the Cove so that it looks much the same as it did in the 1800's.
