Good coffee, fair service, dirty bathroom. Great location. Went there last month. The grime on the bathroom floor and door was off-putting. At least in the ladies room. Old buildings can be difficult to keep clean but I know the grime wasn't a stain because I took a wet paper towel and wiped a streak though it. If they don't take care in cleaning a bathroom, how much care do they take cleaning their food preparation areas and equipment? I did point it out to a barista, who received the feedback with a flicker of eye contact. I've yet to be back but expect I will. The nice thing about hot coffee is it's a fairly safe beverage to drink even if the environment isn't as clean as one would like.

Best and most consistent cup if coffee in Omaha. Get it, son! Also, pumpkin-spice-latters need not apply.

I go there for the iced coffee, which is quite delicious as they cold brew it. However, every single time that I go in, I am highly disappointed with the customer service. The hot brewed coffee itself is mediocre, I have definitely had better. Yet to me, customer service is everything. If you are going to run a coffee shop that serves people, learn how to communicate and well. On two separate occasions I ordered my beverage (an iced coffee- easy enough) and they forgot my order. There was a person behind me in line, and they got their drink before me, and I was asked what my beverage was again. They seemed annoyed to even be serving me. On another occasion a friend of the baristas came in and got his drink before me, even though he was behind me in line. Honestly, I have worked in customer service for over 10 years now, and I know how to communicate with customers. Blue Line (both locations) have been a let down. Unfortunately, I will be returning for their iced coffee until I can find myself a better place with toddy (iced coffee).

I really enjoy coffee and have been looking for a favorite spot since I moved to Omaha a few weeks ago, but this definitely won't be it. The drink I ordered (The Blue Line Special) was decent enough, but that's about all they have for specialty drinks. They really only offer the basics - espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc. I prefer specialty drinks. The shop had a very busy, friendly, communal feel, but the barista seemed apathetic, almost rude. She never, ever smiled. And the shop was dirty. There's a difference between a place having a cool, urban atmosphere and feeling as if the owner hasn't checked in on the shop in years (or just doesn't care). I'll be buying my coffee elsewhere.

This spot is hit or miss. I typically get the Chai Latte but the last time, it tasted like warm water even though the woman behind me in line got her drink first. I would have thought that the extra time would have given the barista an opportunity to make a better drink. I felt like I had wasted the money (including tip). The service is usually cool and the clientele is nice, but they've got to do something about creating consistency with their beverages. The muffins are pretty good, but the other pastries? Notsomuch.
