So me and my gypsy family a party of 14th came here for my parents 22th anniversary, The service was annoying along with putting the food all over the place at a raging speed that was not professional even management was ignorant the food here is good most of the time, Nothing amazing but its good, This time was disappointing, Getting refills was a hassle at one point a guy just flew by and put water in my glass when i had a coke? Like what the hell? And most of the food was coldish aswell, not very fresh! the bill was $300 A price a much rsther take to Dominic's in cinco ranch for REAL italian food and fresh made pasta, Now that place is amazing! And aslso my moms cocktail glass was cracked at magiianos .... '-') they needa be more pro and not so LOW

I wont support this restaurant ever again. Im so upset at how they treat their hard working employees. All i have to say is make sure u buy their make a wish specials or they will fire your server. If you don't buy a special and your server doesn't meet a certain amount of specials sold they lose their job. It happend to my husband yesterday. He didn't feel comfortable manipulating and begging his customers to buy food they didn't want and now our family of 5 have to pay that price :/

Went there on Friday for lunch and I loved it. Might even go there to try all that's on the menu. If you have a passion for Italian food, you should try this place. The service was also good.

My wife took me to Maggiano’s last week, as an early Valentine’s day gift. We’ve dined here at handful of times and this visit did not disappoint. This is truly some of the best Italian food you will find in Houston. I would like to start by recommending that if you want to dine here, make a reservation. If not, be prepared to wait. If you do make a reservation, show up on time. They only hold them for about 10 minutes. The restaurant can become loud, just as an FYI. If you are looking for a time when it is not so loud, come for Sunday Bruch. This was a specialty dinner, with a specific menu for Valentine’s Day. We started off with 2 Bellinis. The Bellinis are EXCELLENT at Maggianos. Sort of a frozen mix of champagne and peaches. Very tasty and refreshing. You need to try one if you like champagne. As appetizers, we had Crispy Zucchini Fritte. It’s a dish of sliced and fried Zucchini. The flavor is a pleasant combination of salt and lemon. It’s a big portion though. We also had salads. My wife’s favorite salad here is the Maggiano’s chopped salad. I prefer the spinach salad. You can't go wrong with either selection. For our main courses, we had the Chicken Francese and the Beef Tenderloin Medallions. The Beef is good but the Chicken Francese is outstanding. The chicken is tenderized and then lightly fried with a wonderfully tasteful seasoning. In reality, we could have shared the chicken entree and been more than full. If you order desert, cleanse the pallet with the Tiramisu. It is very, very good. Some of the best Tiramisu I’ve ever had. Also, their house brand Ruffino Salute Amico wine is quite good, very smooth. Great with beef.

I liked the price on the $12.95 / $14.95 meal where you eat one there, and bring another one home (second one comes cold). The food came very fast when the place was full to capacity with 1 hour waits, which led me to question the food quality. The food quality here is about the same as Pronto Cucinino, or worse. The service is like McDonalds. Our server forgot many items without a remorseful thought while saturating us in his sales pitches. What we wanted didn't seem to matter more than what he wanted. When asked to wrap our food to-go, he not only denied us that option but continued with "Trust me, I've been doing this for a long time. I'll do it". When we later asked if it was policy, he said "No, it's just what I like to do, because it works better". He then gave us the option after it was too late. The place looks very nice, but it's very crowded. With my chair pulled up, the space between me and another table rewarded me with a constant rude bump from food runners as if I were not supposed to be sitting there. I would no go to this place again unless I had to. For that money, you can get better quality food and service in Houston.

I know it was News Years Eve, but... When we arrived as told there what a 1.5 hr wait. Okay the live music was playing "my kind " of music. So we decide to wait. My wife and I sat at corner of bar.(last time i watched Cheers corner of bar was a good place to get a drink) i sat there for an hour and half and NOT ONCE did the bar tender ask us if we needed anything. She only did after another patron complained of similar situation and she pointed it out. At the 1.5 hr mark I asked the host how much longer and he said he 20 more minutes they are running behind, I asked again in another 15 which seemed to get his bow tie in a pinch he said he had to get in ALL of his reservations before he would seat a walk in, I asked if he was seat parties with reservation times later than when I came in. He said yes. any RSVP takes president over a walk in. I've eaten at this location many times and probably wont be back.

Good Italian. Not the best - it's still a chain. But in light of that, it's very good. Not the place for a health-conscious meal
