Located in the heart of Fort Point Channel, Blue Dragon is a comfortable, neighborhood place to simply hang out, have a drink and enjoy some incredible food. The tapas-style menu adds Ming's East West twist to many pub favorites. The bar is well-stocked with a number of craft beers, worldly wines, premium sakes and signature cocktails.

I was a bit disappointed the last time I went to Blue Dragon - spent a lot of money on very small cocktails (good, but wee small) and food that was mediocre at best. The sauce the noodles were cooked in tasted burnt and the portions (while they are tapas) were extremely small. I don't eat too much but if is a bill is over $100, I do expect to feel full at the end of the meal. Overall, not too impressed.

Blue Dragon is a very fun restaurant. Tapas style Asian inspired food. The noodle dishes, fried chicken, appetizers, everything is delicious, but the best part are the scorpion bowls! I always go with 1-3 friends and we get multiple bowls and always too much food but it's so much fun! They don't take reservations and getting there early is a plus but waiting an hour isn't the worst and can be worth it! The space is nice, a few high top tables to have drinks at, the bar, normal tables to eat at and the open kitchen. Also be sure to use the first bathroom on your right, it has a mirror that you can see through to the kitchen/ restaurant but no one can see you in there! The servers are extremely well informed and nice, as are the rest of the wait staff/ hosts.

Ming Tsai is well known in Boston and this sot doesn't disappoint. Very similar to Toro in that it is small plates and doesn't take reservations but differs in that the focus is asian fusion. They do have a texting system where they will let you know when your table is ready so feel free to pop over to Lucky's while you wait. Really interesting menu and delicious basil cocktail. Worth checking out as it definitely has more of an NYC vibe than your typical Boston spot

Fun space / multiple small plates and main dishes were salt city and sadly underwhelming / maybe better for a pre dinner drink+snack

From the quaint atmosphere to the simple menu, this place resonates well with me. The fare is simple yet full of flavor. I had the Asian Sloppy Joe with Sambal Aioli, Crispy Onions and House Fries. The fries were crispy throughout the entire meal which is always a treat. The sloppy joe was tasty and my only curiosity was the type of meat used. It had an odd quality that, while not unpleasant, I couldn't place and felt odd in my mouth.

I really enjoy coming to Blue Dragon for a late night drink or snack with friends. They have a fun menu that is conducive to sharing, and their cocktails are fun and great for splitting. They have large scorpian bowl type drinks that are reasonably priced, and pack a strong punch and taste great. The restuarant offers above average Asian inspired cuisine, in a fun laid back atmosphere. TIP - if you need to use the bathroom, use the first door as you walk past the kitchen, you get a one way window into the cooking area!

Wonderful lunch and atmosphere as a visitor to Boston on a weekday. Love the location, the staff, the creative meals, and the flavors. Only wish I'd seen Ming; that would have topped it off. Highly recommend this restaurant and the fusion of flavors. You can't go wrong with your choice on the menu!

Ming Tsai has definitely brought his amazing talents to Boston. His original restaurant, Blue Ginger, is just outstanding and his doesn't diappoint here either. This restaurant is located in a booming area of Boston called Fort Point and is full of energy. The interior looks amazing and they've done a lot with what seems to be a small space from the outside. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with any questions you have. The Pork & Scallion Wontons are a must try as well as the Curied Lamb Shephard's Pie. For drinks I was a big fan of the Coronado Islander IPA as well as the Dragon Bowl. They also have a late night menu which a lot of restaurants don't have.
