Service- great. Food- pretty good General Manager- poor. Planned a dinner party for 20+, requested prices, The GM, Justin quoted prices, but when the bill came, the price was 10% more on one item and 20% more on another. When we got home, we called Justin immediately...he offered no refund. He said, "I did know you were taking notes, I was only guessing'. You gotta be kidding me... the GM doesn't know the prices. Poor Customer response. In addition to an apology, I think they should have offered a gift certificate for the difference, since I already paid.... How can you frequent a restaurant that treat customers so poorly.????

My husband and I love this place. We like the ambiance - warm and not too trendy. The wait staff are very friendly and eager to please without bugging you. The owner frequently greets and seats guests. Our food is spot on everytime. Consistently great dishes are important to us and it keeps us coming back to WestChase Grille couple of times a month. We signed up for their Preferred Diners Club and we immediately got a BOGO email and the weekly newsletter telling us the weekend specials and the live music schedule. Lonnie McFadden on Wednesday nights is one of our favorites. I crave the stuffed chicken breast and the lobster roll appetizer. The chicken is tender, juicy and flavorful. The lobster roll has HUGE chunks of lobster. My hubby loves their steaks - any of their steaks, filet, KC strip or the ribeye. He says they are ALL good. We were in the other night and they had a new grilled flatbread app with truffled crimini mushrooms that was awesome. They have very nice weekend specials which keeps the experience fresh. Oh, did I mention the pie? They have homemade coconut cream pie and key lime pie. You can tell that these are really homemade from scratch. The serving is big enough to share. All in all - we can't rave enough about WestChase Grille. After reading the other negative reviews, I wonder if they are talking about the same place?

I was extremely humiliated when before finishing my dessert, the owner very rudely asked us to pay our bill immediately because his next reservations had arrived. My friend had just ordered a drink she could not finish, and so we asked to speak to the owner again, and expressed our disappointment but he showed no empathy and tried to blame us. The food is mediocre, all portions and overpriced. The highlight of the nightt was our waiter who was nice. Do not waste money or time at this restaurant.

We had heard good reviews of WestChase and went on a Saturday night.Beautiful evening and other restaurants' patios were full to the point of being festive, but WestChase's patio was quiet and not full. It was odd that as we walked in, the maitre d' was apologizing to the only couple waiting to be seated and saying something like, "I just wanted to warn you" as they were led to their table. We asked for a table for two and he said they were very busy. My husband suggested we sit in the bar, where empty tables were visible or the patio. The maitre d' explained that it was possible to be seated, but that the kitchen is very busy. We then understood the apology to the annoyed couple as we came in the door. Although there was not a soul waiting for a table, idle wait-staff standing right behind him and empty tables available, he was implying that he would prefer if we left and came back another night. We accommodated him and left, but are in no hurry to return. We went to the bustling Blanc Burger where they seemed glad to see us and had a nice evening.

I will never step foot in this restaurant again. I was mistreated by the owner who wanted my friend and I to leave because the next reservation had arrived. I had to leave my dessert untouched and my friend left her drink because we could not finish. It is understandable that these things happen but he handled it in the most distasteful and hispid manner. We were humiliated and disappointed. My husband who recommended the restaurant because he has business dinners there often said he will NEVER go back there again and neither will his business partners because he is informing all of the secretaries to cut that place from the list. By the way, the "3" raviolis swimming in the Campbell's soup tasting sauce left a lot to be desired. We were both hungry when we left. CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE!!!!!! The one star is for the waiter who was a sweetheart.

My wife and I went to Westchase Grille last night and had the best Filet I think I have ever had, cut like butter! Wife had a fish dish she absolutely loved. Great Blue Cheese wedge, lobster spring rolls are outrageous and we had the key lime pie which is second to none. We dine out quite a bit and think I have found our new FAVORITE restaurant!

We've tried to like this place but it's always a disappointment. If any KC metro restaurant needs to be nominated for Gordon Ramsey's kitchen nightmares it is Westchase grill. First visit, about a year ago, we dropped in for cocktails just to check it out. The bar is awkward, your staring at a lovely wall but your back is to the rest of the facility and these silly old vegas lounge booths seperate the areas. The 2nd time our daughter chose it for father's day dinner so we had to go. The place wasn't very busy yet the service was slow and 2 out of 4 dishes were cold but the plates were blazing hot. My dish was lackluster and bland my husbands burger was undercooked and the waiter repeatedly called me dear. Hint, when you serve generations portions and no one wants a togo box get a clue. The third visit was a couple weeks ago. We had heard they had jazz on weekends and decided to give them one more try. We were seated close to the band which you would think would be great but...the dining area is essentially a glass strip mall box and everytime a car pulled in or out of a space the lights shined directly in the window at our table. Again, the food was lackluster and just doesnt rate for the price point and image that they seem to want to convey but just can't pull it off. 1 2 3 strikes your out.

This is the first time I've ever written a review for anything online, but WestChase Grille is just that good, that it deserves the accolade! I've been here twice now, and both times, been very pleased and impressed by the food, service, and overall atmosphere of this establishment. ALL the staff are amazing, and just make you feel very welcome, and we had the opportunity on both times we went there to meet John Westhouse, one of the owners, and he is an absolute darling. As well as the wonderful dining experience that you can experience at westchase grill, the value is wonderful, and they offer fantastic specials. Highly recommended. :)
