I ate at M/X the bar/restaurant there. The food is excellent, although the menu is small. I had the fish tacos. They were delicious. Service is prompt and courteous.

Not happy with the experience here at all. We booked a room and when we arrived they informed us that they were completely booked out. They never called us, they never emailed us, they didn't do anything...they simply ignored us. We were stranded in the south loop late at night with nowhere to go because the manager didn't take the initiative to inform us that things had changed. Don't book rooms to people when you don't have them to book.

We were located on the top floor of one of the south wings. Gorgeous view of Lake Michigan, Willis Tower, and Navy Pier. It was very busy and hectic as there was some sort of tournament going on, as well as the Taste of Chicago. The rooms included a king bed, chair lounger, desk with both a regular chair and a chair with wheels and we were able to request a rollaway bed. I didn't sleep in the king bed, but the rollaway twin bed was fairly comfy and easy to put down. It did not come with its own pillow or comforter, but there was an extra one of each in the closet. The closet was double doored and had a light in it. This was also the location of the safe and coffee maker. The lighting in the bathroom was ok, but not good for putting on makeup. The shower/tub was nothing special, but ran well and stayed hot. Our room door did not close properly. The breakfast buffet was very good as well as the entrees my friends ordered. Overall, the experience for our weekend excursion was fantastic!

Didn't stay in hotel but is connected to Mccormick Place. Bar and Daily Grind Coffee are sometimes more convenient than McCormick too if you are looking for a place to get away from a trade show.

Only gave an extra star for the room view. I was disappointed in the size of the actual bathroom. It was quite small. Also was disappointed in the staff at the 24 hour cafe. The lady that was working behind the counter had her phone on speaker phone talking to her friend about the hotel (negatively) and made us fee like an inconvenience when asking about the food. She said "Whatcha see is what you get," and continued to talk to her friend on the phone not answering any our questions. -Also for spending over $300 a night for a room, water shouldn't have a $3.50 price tag on it in the room. I thought that was very classless.

Enjoyed the stay at the Hyatt. The rooms were clean and ready on arrival. The self parking was convenient, we were able to check-in and out online. All in all it was a great experience.

The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place was very nice. It was very clean and smelled nice too. I had a king sized bed and a great view. Free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus as well. The hotel bar needed more craft beer options.

I stopped by the Hyatt after an event at McCormick place and was impressed by lobby decor. It is a great place to take a break after professional events held at the conference center.
