New version 2.3 of Time Meter is available on Google Play. (http://bit.ly/Rx8735). Also, there was a small but important update to Time Meter Extensions (http://bit.ly/1JSBEO9 - read why below)

What's new:

• Quick start for recent activities
Now you can easily start recent activities with one click right from the main screen (in the same way as in Time Meter List widget). There's a small but easy clickable start button on the right of each recent activity.

• Notes indication
Every activity that contains notes is indicated with special icon on the left. So, I hope it'll be easier now to review your activities which contain notes.

• Remote backup (Google Drive, Dropbox, Yandex Disk, etc.)
Now you can easily create backups and put them right to your favorite storage/service and easily restore it on the same or any other devices. And now, same activities are not duplicated when you restore your backup, so you can try to use this backup feature to make periodic syncs between devices (Don't forget that you can restore data that is exported from Quick Glance or Review screens too) Statistics - last N days period

• Statistics - last N days period
Now you can specify new period for your statistics: stats for last N days, where N you specify yourself, so it's highly customizable :)

• Statistics - copy/duplicate
There is a new option "Copy" to make it easier to create new statistics based on existing ones.

• Add activity - rounding to minutes
Previously, when you added new activity using "+" button start at 12:00 and end at 13:00 it could end up as 1h 00m 15s or 59m 50s and so on. From now, Time Meter got smarter and it analyses your activities and tries to round added activity so it's 1h 00m 00s in our example.

• Better Calendar integration
The latest Time Meter and Time Meter Extensions combination works event better now - when you add and edit activities in Time Meter they get automatically updated in your Calendar.

• UI and other improvements/fixes
Auto complete has been improved and fixed for newer Androids. Also, you can click on a tag now when reviewing an activity and change it quickly.

Hope you will like new functionality. Help to spread the word: +1 and reshare.

Special thanks to +Thomas Handler and +Xiaodi Zhu for help with translations to German and Chinese!

+Ahmad Khan I will look into this. As far as I remember there were some issues with sharing to Facebook in terms of api. By the way you can switch off link for share messages in settings.
P.S.
Great milestone indeed :)

• New date and time pickers
Hope it'll be much easier now to add time records/activities and edit existing. See screenshots below for more details.

• Tasker/Locale integration
Now you can use your favorite automation tool with Time Meter.
There are a lot of scenarios, here're few of them:
- NFC tag triggering activities
- Entering/leaving specific location to start or stop time tracking (how to video: http://youtu.be/IzvWVMek1Zo)
- Opening a specific app to start tracking
- Starting time tracking of a specific activity can put device in some predefined state (sleep mode for "sleeping")

Something with timezones. When I edit, time is like +4, when I look into record it's +3, in the list it's +4. Proper one is +3. About 2 weeks ago I updated timezones with Timezone fixer (new Moscow time)

New version 1.8.15 of Time Meter is available on Google Play.

What's new:

• Tags

Set your favorite color for the tags you want to outstand. Choose a color from the list of predefined colors or use a #holo   color picker to come up with your own super awesome color ;).

Rename or merge tags easily. Give a tag the same name as another tag in order to merge/unite them. Pretty easy, eh?

Search through tags and analyze how much time you spent on each, what are minimum, maximum, average time per activity, when were first and last activities and how time spent on the tag relates to other tags in percents.

Finally, you can now say goodbye to the tags you don't want to look at in the app. Just delete them, but be careful, all corresponding activities will be deleted, so think twice before deleting.

• Additional icons for 1x1 widget

Several new icons (sleep, run, smoke/break :))

• Pebble watch integration

You can now make Time Meter reminders to appear on your #Pebble #watch, if you own one of course. Just go to the settings and enable #Pebble #watch notifications.

• Start/end time seconds

Another setting to show seconds of start and end time of activity.

New version 1.7.14 of Time Meter (codenamed “Widgetmania” :)) is on its way to Google Play.

What's new:

• 1x1 widgets

Now you can create a separate #widget   for any activity. Specify title and select icon from almost 200 different icons. I hope this new functionality will make your #timetracking   process much easier.

• List widget

Switching to your latest activities becomes an easy task with this new widget. It allows you to scroll through a list of your activities and start tracking them right from the widget.

• Lock screen widgets

Now all widgets can be added to your lock screen. Personally, I would suggest you to try the list widget on your lock screen. It appears to be really useful when you need to switch between different activities/projects repeatedly.

Some Santa Stats:

Assuming he travels east-to-west, Santa has 31 hours of #Christmas in Assuming that #Santa Claus travels east-to-west, he has 31 hours of Christmas in which to work, thanks to different time zones and the earth's rotation. This works out to 1 956 visits per second. This means that for each Christian household with good children, Santa has approximately 0.0005 seconds to:
* park
* hop out of the sleigh
* jump down the chimney
* fill the stockings
* distribute the remaining presents under the tree
* eat whatever snacks have been provided
* jump back up the chimney
* hop back into the sleigh, and move on to the next house.

Assuming each of these 200 million households are evenly distributed, the average distance between them is 212 meter.

This means Santa's sleigh must move at 640 miles per second (3,000 times the speed of sound). For the purposes of comparison, the fastest man-made vehicle, the Ulysses space probe, moves at a poky 27.4 miles per second.

Time tracking application for Android
Introduction
Time Meter is ideal for people who wants to use their time efficiently. Especially, it suites for freelancers, IT specialists, people who like sport, students, travelers and others who want to  take time under control.

Time Meter helps you to keep track of time spent on different tasks, projects and activities (personal affairs or business tasks, meetings or sports, work or commute). You won’t ask yourself anymore: "What I did last week?"

Time Meter provides the ability to export data to services like Google DOCS and DropBox, and create advanced reports for customers, clients, or for personal use.

Have you ever thought about:

1. How much time do you spend performing different tasks?
2. How many hours do you dedicate to sport weekly?
3. Do you dedicate enough time for your hobby?
4. Don’t you spend too much time playing games? :)
5. How much time do you spend on your daily trips? Maybe it’s time to start using subway instead of your car or vice versa?
6. How much time do you spend in traffic jams?
7. How many hours on average per week / month / year do you sleep?

And this list of questions is endless...

Time Meter allows you to learn this and much more

In order to take your time under control you need to:

Step 1: Setup TimeMeter app
Step 2: Input a brief description of your ongoing task/activity and, if necessary, add a tag/category (entered data will be saved in the app and available as auto completion next time)
Step 3: Start time tracking using “START” button
Step 4: Stop time tracking when you finished your task using “STOP” button

All the rest will be done by Time Meter:

• Add up all the hours spent on certain tasks (Time Review)
• Make the full statistics of the time spent in a given period (Time Review)
• Calculate the cost of work done (Calculator)
• Inform about the unfinished task (Reminder)

Time Meter also provides:

• Removal/editing of tasks
• Task’s start/end time editing
• Data export in CSV format
• Backup creation
• Reminders (sound/vibration)
• Active task notification
• Settings in order to tune app for your needs

Start using your time efficiently with Time Meter App!
Time Meter can be installed on any mobile phone or tablet running Android (since version 1.6)
