10 tips to learn a language (and yes, this guys really does speak all those languages, you can see him in videos)
Matthew Youlden speaks nine languages fluently and understands more than a dozen more. We work in the same office in Berlin, so I constantly hear him using his skills, switching from language to language like a chameleon changing colors. In fact, for the longest time I didn't even know he was ...

I am very happy to say that we also have this documentary in the library here in Oxford, England. The documentary was shown on British television (Channel Four on 5 November 1991) and we now have a copy on DVD. :-)
From tomorrow onwards, the cataloguing record will show the data. Let me know if I can update the record, as it is quite poor at the moment. Click on SOLO from the following page: http://www.lang.ox.ac.uk/library/index.html and search for "Moon globe".
Amicalement, best wishes, Lucile (librarian@lang.ox.ac.uk)

interesting comments about watching foreign films.. and television series!
I’ve watched hundreds of movies over the years to help me to learn one language or another. I bet you have too. Who doesn’t like a good movie? And even better if it’s in your target language! The thing is, I don’t do it much any more. At a certain point, I grew a bit …

I'm a fabulous library for learning up to 190 languages :-)
Introduction
Yes... as I said my collection is fab... books and CDs and DVDs in about 190 languages and a smidgen of literature too and poetry and phonetics (if you don't want to speak like me, ie with a computer accent) and satellite television in most languages we teach at the Centre (and yes, on a more serious note: the dreaded examinations for the Modern Languages Finalists)
Bragging rights
