i am not a seafood guy but honestly their chicken sandwich is amazing. really. all my seafood friends loved the place but i can't vouch for that. but the chicken sandwich? unbelievable. cool place, great casual vibe but a good scene, too.

While the restaurant looks generic on the outside, its prime location on Channel and PCH make it a great date night restaurant along with it's cute oceanside interior. The restaurant has an upscale, new american feel to it and is great for anyone who loves seafood. I aimed to try it out on a Monday night when I knew it was 1/2 priced oysters all night. Drinks were also 1/2 off before 7pm! A big concern for this restaurant is the price - I can see how it would be easy to overspend if one wasn't careful about ordering too much. My date and I really just came for the raw half shell oysters, so we just ordered the mussels and fries and walked away happy and full. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice walk on the beach path which was a great way to walk off dinner.

I had high hopes for the new summer pop up version of this restaurant. I live in the neighborhood. 4 to 5 stars for the food. It was really good. We went for the happy hour. But the service was lacking. The waitress when we pointed out that we had been overcharged merrily slapped down the happy hour menu in front of us as if to prove that the charges that she had charged us were correct. But in fact we were correct. There was no apology there explanation. We will stick with other local restaurants like the golden Bull and Delfini.

This is the cheaper, quicker version of Sugar Fish where the menu is 90% hand/cut rolls and maybe 2 different sashimi options. I was coming here at least 3 times a week. This place is great if you need to have a real fast dinner. If you are coming here to eat, it is better to come here with no more than 3 people as the seating arrangements are around a u-shaped bar. There is also seating outside but you must get the cut rolls. They only serve hand rolls at the bar.

Great food friendly staff. Big shellfish platter was festive. See urchin in the half shell, always good. Urchin was very mild. Lobster roll was good. Reasonable pricing. Loved it!

Really Nice place, The food was totally on top of it. The staff was more than accommodating for our large group. They were more than willing to work with me and the food did not disappoint. Would put this not he list to return to.
