For the second year, CSI and CACREP are co-sponsoring a Leadership Essay Contest! This year’s contest will focus on CSI’s 2015-2016 theme: “Transformational Excellence.” CSI members can enter the contest in one of two categories: Entry-Level Students and Doctoral Students/Professional Counselors/Counselor Educators. A first place recipient in each category will receive $500, a one-year CSI membership renewal, and publication of the essay in the CSI Exemplar, the CACREP Connection newsletter, and on both associations’ websites. CSI is accepting applications for our Leadership Fellowship & Internship program, which helps graduate counseling students (master’s and doctoral) and professionals in the early years of their counseling careers to develop leadership skills for the benefit of the counseling profession! The CSI Counselors’ Bookshelf is holding a contest to encourage submission of reviews to the Bookshelf!  The chapters with the largest percentage of accepted reviews per number of members will receive monetary awards: First Place = $200 and Second Place = $100! Chapters will have two separate opportunities to win: Reviews will be recorded September 1, 2014 - December 31, 2014 and January 1, 2015 - June 1, 2015.  Learn more at!
