My wife is the Cupcake Wench. We run our own boutique cupcake and cake bakery in Trinidad. I'm fortunate enough to be the photographer and taste-tester-in-chief.

We’re starting 2013 with a promised return to Mt. St. Benedict, coincidentally also the location of our first photo walk last year.

The story behind this temple makes it one of the most captivating tourist attractions in Trinidad. Of Siewdass Sadhu's almost sisyphean, and certainly herculean effort to build his own place of worship in a strange land.

The existing temple was totally reconstructed in the 1990's. It is considerably larger than the original, as is the island it sits on.

This is one of my favourite places to shoot, especially at low tide and sunset. Even better when the two coincide.
