Recently thought of this video I produced, one of my first youtube uploads, this was on a flipcam. Thank goodness phones can do it better now, that's me in it, but I guess I sort of directed it. This was one of the eco/ climate change/ sustainability community tours I helped organize at when I was Lead Organizer at SCOPE (my favorite one=) at the little known, LA EcoVillage. When I found out that LAEV was in our neighborhood I was amazed, so I admit to a little SHEPMA pride for the leaders in my community. Back in the day before the Beyond Coal campaign put LA on the climate change map, for reals, so much has happened since then. But most of all it gave me the wonderful opportunity to meet and work with the incredible Joe Linton-, one of my favorite people organizers and role models in the community on sustainability in LA!!! FOLAR owes Joe for it's whimsical brand/ font. Ciclavia and Streetsblog also have benefitted from his skill talent- so I may not be the president of his fan club, it's a competitive election. I may not even be an officer, but I'm definitely a big fan.

I can think of so many for my baby #1(dog) AND baby #2 (cat) but these are great.
The Internet was obviously invented to showcase our pets and pass the time in work watching LOL cats. Trust us, people have done dissertations on this -- not very serious or successful people but actual real-life human beings. The latest craze taking over the outer-limits of your browser is a ...

Jack Roosevelt Robinson rose from humble origins to cross baseball’s color line and become one of the most beloved men in America. A fierce integrationist, Robinson used his immense fame to speak out against the discrimination he saw on and off the field, angering fans, the press, and even teammates who had once celebrated him for “turning the other cheek.
