Delicious doesn't even begin to describe how good the food is at The BBQ Spot! Everything we've had is great, it all tastes like home cooking BBQ from Texas, that's why it's so good! You might want to call ahead to make sure they have what you want because it's so good that they do sometimes run out!

I just had a stellar experience at The BBQ Spot. Ok, the location is out of the way, but, it is worth the journey. The server/cashier was very knowledgeable about BBQ and answered key questions correctly. And, when I wasn't sure about chopped vs. sliced (brisket) he let me taste the difference. Speaking of Brisket- the chopped brisket I had was meltingly tender and had just enough fat to make it yummy and not dry or tough. I had a side of cole slaw that was perfectly dressed- not too sweet, not too mayonaisy and not too much dressing! The corn bread was just fine, not remarkable, but in the realm of authentic and very good. Next time I will try more side dishes. And, they have two types of sauce: regular and hot. Hot means hot. Please know that!

We've done all take out with these folks. Tender brisket with a great smoke ring, fabulous pulled pork, and fall-apart ribs. Great taste and the homemade sauce that is good and smoky as well. Terrific service to boot. Thanks, we'll be back!

It was good, but overpriced. 16 bucks for 6 oz of brisket and mac n cheese
