I believe this concept of water conservation was part of a bill signed (as a last act in office) by President Bill Clinton.  The bill covers quite a bit of plumbing.  You will notice water heaters and toilets also on that bill.
How time flies and how we forget.  Thanks for the reminder and assurance that we are currently saving water.
Funny and humorous side note:  I was cabling a sewer line.  When performing a video inspection, I saw no reason why this houses' sewer should be continually developing blockages.  I looked in the toilet tanks around the house as a suspicion.  Just as I thought!  The home owner is putting jugs of water in the tank to conserve water consumption on toilets that are already designed to save water under the energy and resource conservation standards.
The result:  The home owner spent a lot of money over a few years, repeatedly having the sewer cleared of blockages, developed by not having enough water to wash the sewer line out.

What does the term, “flushable wipes” conjure in your mind? If you’re like me, the phrase on product packaging indicates the wipes will flush down the toilet and break down in your sewer lines or septic system, thus working just like toilet paper. But it appears that’s reading too much into the performance capabilities of these popular consumer products. And I have the plumbing bill to prove it.

Jimbo and Alvin customer service are the best in the
Septic tank pump business. Nine years at this location 6 companies later never have we educated like we were today. Jimbo has every certification needed in this business. They told us first what they were going to do and they did everything they said. I would recommend them to my friends and family. They were recommended to us.

Jimbo and Alvin great guys. They answered all of our questions before they started. No pressured at all. They informed as to what they were going to do and did just that. They empty the tank to the bottom I watch everything from there camera. They made recommemdation to repair our septic system and still no pressure. We do recommend Rooterplus.

Many consumers leave reviews. In the services industry, today, cyber reviews linger; customer's estimations subjectively based on what constitutes a 'thumbs up'... I, like many, check consumer reviews. Reviews, specifically pertaining to plumbing/septic, were skewed across the board. I called a local septic install company, and they recommended Rooter Plus. Initially we weren't having issues, though I knew maintenance hadn't been done...questionably even in the systems lifetime??? Radio ads had me thinking about maintenance cleaning, in conjunction with the 5-6 other homes in the neighborhood having septic trucks out over the past 3 years. My spouse finally "okay'ed'" having a maintenance pumping. Jim-Bo came out, initially, two months ago....He was educational and upfront. On first visit they couldn't find our tank with plat and needed gas lines marked...second visit we were going to need at minimum a riser installed...like many...had to wait post-taxes. Two months later my fear realized.....sewage in the basement, water damage in the carpet....up the walls...in the furniture, books, electronic equipment, guest room mattress/box springs.............. Jim-Bo and Josh came out same day and got to work. Again, friendly, informative, punctual. What may I say for the company in recommendation?? Inexpensive? No. However, the folly of every homeowner is, "if you wait until there is a problem....." My spouse did not want to face what had happened, happened and we were now paying the cost. Straight forward, communicative, punctual....MOST importantly to me educational, compassionate, and THOROUGH. Lets face it, what's worse than the sore spot in your wallet from "waiting 'til it's broke" or having to go through the same nightmare of no water/sewer and damage clean-up, mitigation, and restoration a second-time...AND having to then explain THAT to your husband as you did it "the cheapest way" the first-time because everything is tight? This is not my forte, though I am the 'fixer-upper', farm grown, roll-up your sleeves and do it yourself... and do it well person. All the stories you hear about plumbing companies and plumbers...and their costs, male or female who isn't skeptical?, especially when your knowledge base is still sophomoric. Bottom-line, the work that needed to be done was more than anticipated but needed to be completed (while it was all dug-up, extra hoses, 'Josh' in the ditch 3+ feet over his head on the main-line..) so that my next septic call won't be for 3 years for routine pumping. Would I call them again? Yes, though I hope I don't have to for three years at maintenance time....... IF I do, I shall amend this review readily AND harshly! Jim-Bo and Josh....extremely polite, considerate, informative, thorough.

These guys just left my house and I hate that I even called them. I have my septic tank cleaned every three years and instead of calling the guys I used the last couple of times, I called RooterPlus! because of the price special that popped up when I was trying to find the name of the guys from last time. I made the appointment a week ago and RooterPlus! called me first thing this morning to say they'd be here in 30-40 minutes. They showed up almost 2 hours later. When I told the tech I just needed a cleaning, he immediately put a bad taste in my mouth when he said something about how tank problems have a way of sneaking up on you. As soon as he dug the cover off, he called me out and asked how much I knew about septic systems. I knew right then I was about to get hosed so I listened to a few minutes of doom and gloom and then I came inside and, for the first time, looked up the company. In hindsight, I should've done that from the beginning but thank God I did it at all. A few minutes later he called me back out and started talking about how I had major problems. His options were to put in a new drainfield for 7k, but he didn't see that happening because the county probably wouldn't give me a permit because they'd want me to hook up to the sewer lines for 11k (we don't have working sewers out here but he thought we did because the developers put in manholes in case we eventually get them). Then he offered to do the unclogging with a chemical for $250. How the heck do you go from 11000 dollars to 250. I told him to finish the cleaning I'd called him for and leave. When he gave me the bill, I saw he'd put an estimate on it for $2700, and it included the chemical cleaner, which is proof positive he knew the $250 he had just quoted was only a starting point. Now I'm in the process of getting someone else out here to see if this guy was on the level or was just trying to shovel some of what he cleans down my throat. When I find out, I'll be sure to come back and post an update.

We contacted Rooter Plus to clear a drain at our house, somewhere under the lawn. The technician arrived, took a quick look, and after 10minutes of "working on a quote" came back with a quote of $475,-. Quite expensive, especially since there was a whole list of potential "extras" that could add up to the final cost depending on their "findings". Anyway, that's not my problem with that company, it's a free world, they can set their pricing however they want. So I told the technician I thought it was too expensive and thanked him for "coming out" and that I would look for someone else to do the job. His response ? "Wait, I can give a discount; $415". That is the point where I had a big question mark floating above my head. Me - "No, that's still to expensive, I'll find someone else, thanks though." Him: "$350,- then ?". Me - "Hey now, what is this, a bidding game ??". So after some more back and forth and me telling the guy he should leave, he came back with a final "Company Special" of $99,-. I know I should have still told the guy "No" but after a whole sunday of working on the problem with my plumber, and renting gear from Home Depot etc, I OK'ed the "Company Special" just to get the job done before sunset - it's not very comfortable living in a house without a working drain... I don't blame the technician that came out (even if this particular guy had a "serious attitude") because I'm sure he is just following company policy and he can use the extra commission, but I do point a nasty finger at the management of Rooter Plus because this is a particularly despicable way of doing business; a lot of vulnerable people would just go ahead with the initial quote, what else can you do as a mother with kids and no working drains ? and they probably end up paying even more than the initial quote. Yes, management of Rooter Plus, I understand you don't do anything illegal, but trust me on this, your business ethnics... are simply despicable.

Used this Rooter Plus because my neighbor used them. My husband had some concerns about our septic tank. Ernie with Rooter Plus came over to answer my husbands questions. Our tank definitely needed to be pumped ASAP. We were able to get service within two days. Ernie came back out and completed the job within a hour. We were pleased with the service and response time.

i have called rooter plus and told them my problem with septic and they agreed to do the job . it was scheduled but they came 1hr 30 mins late and the truck driver came to the door and I showed the tank and the issue . so he called the boss and he seems like didn't want to do the job so made an excuse that we have to charge you for extra pipeline to attach the truck tank and I asked how many pipes he told me that 6 pipe at $30 a pipe so he added $180 to the cost so became $372 and plus cleaning surround additional cost . so I decline to do that. I think they say they are cheap but there are lots of hidden fees so don't even try rooter plus septic service and the guy was not friendly enough to talk to me about issues. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this servive

I'd like to thank Mitch and Rooter Plus for all the great service. Mitch explains in great detail what he is going to do, gives a price up front and shows how the price is calculated. I feel that Mitch goes out of his way to treat me as a valued customer and gives me the respect that anyone would expect.
