Here's an opportunity for our intergalactic +Alien Abduction Friday team members, veterans, followers, alien friends, Others Who Cannot Be Named #owcbn and the #GPlusAlienNation! More than likely, some of you have visited these exoplanets during your Friday adventures.
The International Astronomical Union (IAU) will open the naming of exoplanets to the general public in 2015. The announcement about the new naming project, NameExoWorlds, was just made today, July 9.
Did you know that as of April 2014, the Habitable Exoplanets Catalog lists 21 planets that have the best chance for life beyond our solar system? Note: Not all of these planets have been confirmed (which sounds like an invitation for an #alienabductionfriday special assignment).
Please let us know if you participate, and thank you for representing us well. >8)))

For this month of August I will be exploring outer space, inner space, hyper space and other SciFi spaces and places on my appropriately named Galaxy S3. I would very much like it if you joined in on the fun. Tag any of your creative work that you created during August with the tag:

These can be in the forms of imagery, painting, story, poetry, sculpture, you name it. Just keep it constrained to science fiction and to August. I wouldn't mind if you also mentioned me in the post but that isn't necessary. It would be nice to see all the fabulous work I anticipate will be created and shared.
