Recently discovered this place and absolutely love everything I've experienced. The food (fried chicken lunch special & french dip sandwich), drinks (house brewed black cherry soda, blonde ale, piranha pale ale), and the service has all been phenomenal. Can't wait to go back again.

Every experience I had at BJ's was excellent for me. Great service (every waiter I had was friendly and knowledgeable about menu items), perfect atmosphere (the best music I've heard played in ANY restaurant), and the best menu items you could choose from, not to mention the fun array of drinks. I would say the cider drinks are the best, but any berry drink they have is great too. The best appetizer by far is the Avacado Egg Roll, and I'm not even a fan of rolls. Those are a meal in themselves! The Calamari was a good second choice though. Their steaks are the best, especially the sirloin. Cooked to order, and make sure you add the red wine sauce (and I'm not even a fan of putting sauce on a steak!). Their horseradish mashed potatoes are possibly the best thing I've ever tasted, definitely the best side. I also think you have to try the pot roast at least once, it really does taste like a home cooked meal. I tried a plethora of their menu items, between me and my fiance, and every single thing we had, we loved. If only there was a BJ's in Michigan!

This is a great place for a date or get together with friends and family. Any time there is a long wait we browse the connected mall. The menu is enormous, has maybe a few too many choices, but the food and drinks are good. Really enjoyed both times at the restaurant. Waiter was quick and food didn't take too long. Overall very nice experience.

My husband and I LOVE this place. We go twice a week. This is the only restaurant in Louisville where I get something different every time because every dish is so good. A huge part of the reason we frequent it so much is the beer! We get the Tatonka Stout always. As dark beer connoisseurs, this is the best we have ever had. Wish they'd serve it everywhere, or at least sell it at liquor stores. As far as the service, the hosts could use some work. The majority of the time, they tell people there's a wait when there are a lot of open tables... Maybe it's a manager issue, not sure, but we always sit in the bar, so we avoid them altogether. For regulars who go twice a week without fail, the ONLY server who remembers us and the beer we always order is Sara, the server in the bar who usually wears glasses. Kudos to her- she is by far, the best server there, and we should know. We spend A LOT of money there!

Decent food, small portions for the price though. Service was terrible. Took 30 minutes to get our drinks after we sat down, and an hour to get our food after that. When we finished our food, we ordered desert, which as I'm writing this, has taken 45 minutes. Restaurant is nearly empty so I know they're not too busy. Waitress is really nice though, and the saving grace for this experience. But I won't be coming here again.
