FeedReader 2.0.1

I silently released version 2.0 of FeedReader a few days ago. Now that all the bugs that have been reported since then are fixed, I'll release version 2.0.1 and promote it here on G+ :)

If you want to read up on all the new features that went into 2.0 take a look at my last post:

Vala 1.0?

This is a call to action. We need all of you using Vala, to file bugs against problems, issues and mistakes, share your thoughts on why they should be fixed before a 1.0 release.

If you have patches, please consider to add to your bug report.

Is time for #ValaLove and create a better development tool.

FeedReader 2.0 beta1

This took a lot longer than I anticipated. But on the other hand a lot happened since the last release.
The biggest changes are:

- Back-ends are now plugins
- Share services are plugins
- "The Old Reader"-support
- "local RSS"-support
- "Feedbin"-support
- "freshRSS"-support
- Support podcasts
- Support Gnome Online Accounts
- Share to Wallabag 2.0
- Lots of internal improvements and bug-fixes

Currently there are no packages available for this pre-release.

It's the little things.

FeedReader now tries to find bigger versions of images on the website, downloads them and displays them when clicking on the small version.

Similarly FeedReader now down-sizes huge images (>2k) which normally cause the webkit-webview to slow down extremely, and puts the small version in the article. The big version can be viewed by clicking on the re-sized version in the article.

Current c't Linux Page 93.

My Camera is broken, so I can't take a photo of the physical copy. I hope it's okay to post the digital version if I blur the content like this.
