That skit was fantastic. The skit was great for those who have been subscribed for a while and followed the razor situation with Luke. So seeing him get a new razor (and advertising at the same time!) was satisfying. I also liked the segue into Luke's review; it just felt relaxed and fun.

This is a really good piece of advice. I'll have to follow this in my reports about the experiment data when I return to work.

I much prefer ebooks to physical ones. After I got my Nook Simple Touch, I have found it convenient enough to carry around and I am now ready far more than I was before. There are things I dislike about it, particularly the drm for books, but I live with my gripes for now because I truly appreciate ebooks.

While I don't care too much for having everything connected, I love this item. It is simple and gives information I need to keep a plant alive. I always fail to grow plants in soil.

I like this expandable option as I am new to watercooling and appreciate an all-in-one, but once I fully understand how it works in my system, I would like to change it up a bit.

I had no idea Nuclear power used that much water... I knew it took a lot of water, but these numbers are far above what I thought. Since my focus in on water conservation, I have to say that the current state of Nuclear is no longer on my list of desirable energy sources....

This was a nice video. I am personally a fan of the qml menu that you showed, though it sometimes has weird glitches for me (the bookmarks disappear).Lately I am trying out homerun-kicker to see how I like it after some use.

I think this was well worth my time listening to. I pretty much agree with what the speaker has said, but I am wondering if there are any opposing viewpoints to this. I'd love to hear them ;)

Interesting post, but I do not agree with your statement that 'Disrupting changes come through iterations." Many people get angry when a big change comes so suddenly that they have to re-learn and adapt to everything (think KDE4, Gnome3, Windows8 mobile interface). It is definitely more impacting when you get all the changes at once, but I think making the changes in iterations and letting the users learn and adapt to them as they come is a good idea. It takes a bit longer for all the changes to come, but on the other hand, if you only deliver in parts, maybe you are able to deliver them sooner than if you had to wait until everything was finished.
I have looked with passion the systemd case since a little more than two years ago. As some of you know my number one passion is innovation, sometimes I think than even more than freedom. From that perspective systemd is a gr...

Hi Brandon, thanks for the comments.

The affirmation is related to the development of innovation, not with how that innovation is brought to users/market.

"And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope." Romans 5:3-4

I definitely need to remember this while I am at work.

+Kubuntu My KDE desktop. I like plasma-netbook, but I didn't like some of it's functions on my desktop, so I gave it the netbook layout but with the normal panel. Items I open and focus on are favorites on the desktop and applications I use more often are pinned to my panel. I also have a little hidden weather icon on my desktop (see bottom center).  #showyourdesktopfriday
