One word: Horrible. We went here for my 21st birthday thinking it was a casually nice environment. Wrong. The host was miserable at best-sat us down and left before we even got to the booth. The waitress was quite pleasant..at first. We had appetizers and an entree; the food was okay-but not good enough to make up for the horrible wait staff. The waitress did not clear the appetizer plates or dinner. I ordered penne vodka with chicken-the pasta came out with no chicken, and the waitress said it would be about 4 minutes; 15 minutes later my chicken came out-I mixed it in and dug in! It was horrible. The waitress came and asked if we needed boxes (my mother ordered the same dish that was also left barely touched), and when we said no she didn't ask what was wrong or if she could get us anything else. No apology was given when the chicken was late either. My mother went to speak with a manager because the waitress continued to practically ignore us and our plates from appetizers and dinner still await her pick up. The manager acted like it was his first day; nervous and incompetent. Once my mother had spoken to him we had to wait several more minutes to get the new check with the removed items. He came back to the table to mention that my mother should call Dennis, "the big boss," and then he nervously left. No apology, nothing. This place is unprofessional with less than acceptable food. Save yourself the 60+ dollars and go somewhere else!

Stone Chase used to be one my favorite restaurants in Westchase to take my family, but after our visit last night we will not be returning! The menu was changed a few weeks ago, and according to our waitress, they are boasting fresher ingredients and new tastier recipes. The updated version of what used to be the meatball marengo was not up to par and the meatballs tasted like they had just mixed meat with parsley. My apple and walnut salad was actually tasty, my only complaint was that there were no apples, which is totally strange considering it was called APPLE and Walnut salad. My daughter ordered mac n cheese and broccoli and the sauce on the mac n cheese was grainy and bitter compared to what it once was. She also got a rotten piece of broccoli. The entire top was brown and goopy. To add insult to injury, my daughter spilled her drink, and not only were we unable to get any waiter's attention to clean it, but when my husband went up to the bar to ask for napkins, they gave him a rag and we had to clean it up ourselves. They were kind enough not to charge us for my daughter's dinner after seeing the rotten broccoli themselves, and there was a really nice lady who was the hostess when we walked in who helped us finish cleaning up the spill. Other than that lady, the staff is young and unprofessional. It was $62 that would have been better spent elsewhere.

Worst place I have ever been to. Service sucked so bad that it is the first time in my entire life that I didn't leave a tip. We ordered the calamari which was overcooked, the steak oscar and the chicken caprese were luke warm and flavorless. There was no silverware or condiments on the table. The girl who brought out the appetizer ended up going back and getting some silverware, and I ended up grabbing salt and pepper from an empty table. Then to top it off when we finally got the bill we asked for a box to take the leftovers home for the dog, the waitress was standing around talking for around 5 minutes. Do yourself a favor and just walk across the parking lot to McDonalds and you will get a better meal and save a bunch of money. Poor to Fair is too high a grade, I have never left a review for any place else in my life, but this place is so bad I wanted to warn others before they waste their time and money!!!

Me and my boyfriend went to Stone Chase for our Tuesday date night (January 22nd) that we do every week because that is my only day off. This is the worst experience that I have ever had in a restaurant. We both work in the restaurant business and we could not believe the horrible service we experienced tonight. When we walked in we were put on a wait so I went to use the ladies room. When I went in, one stall was out of order while the other had no toilet paper. Then we were brought to a high top that had some kind of drink spilled all over it and on the floor around it. We were instructed to sit at the table while it was cleaned. They cleaned the table but left the floor soaked, there was a puddle of water under my boyfriends chair. Our server was absent most of our meal and did not introduce herself to us. We ordered the fried cheese as an appetizer and it was a little over cooked. When I was eating the fried cheese my drink was empty and I had to share with my boyfriend because we couldn't find our server. Then our server offered to bring us more bread to which we accepted. We never received the bread, she just totally forgot about it. Then when our food came out I had to stare at my food for about five minutes before someone brought me some eating utensils. My boyfriend ordered a medium burger and got a well done, very overcooked burger. He says that the food is no better than a diner. That if hes gonna pay $11 for a burger it shouldn't be from a frozen bag and it should be properly seasoned. A food runner brought us our food and our server did not come to see how everything was or if we needed anything. After our meal I went to the ladies room to which a server was in the stall. She then came out of the stall put on her apron and walked out, she did not wash her hands. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. They pride themselves on their food and their "passionate" service, i did not see it. I am very disappointed in this place. It seemed very busy and i don't understand why. I will not be coming back to Stone Chase.

I DO NOT recommend Stone Chase. I used to love Stone Chase and have been a faithful customer for four years. As I understand it, recently the restaurant changed owners, and it has been horrible since. The quality of food is not the same and has been consistently bad. Today was the last straw. My party and I waited 20 minutes for a table at lunchtime. There was no host; the busboy was doing his best to cope. No manager in sight during lunch rush. A waitress tried to seat another party ahead of us; totally mixed up; heaven forbid someone be out there greeting guests and taking names! When we did finally get a table there was a thirty minute wait for our food. UNACCEPTABLE. Iced tea tasted funny--no lemon offered with it, pish warm. No bread offered during the 30 minute wait for food--we just sat there hungry and waiting. So an hour after we walked in for lunch, our steak and lettuce wedges arrived. I wish I could post a photo, as I took several: literally ONE OUNCE of meat: four-2" slices of low quality steak on our plates--a cheap, flavorless, luke-warm sirloin steak. There was an unidentifiable large piece of something (an old chunk of lettuce, maybe? who knows) inside of the side of blue cheese dressing--DISGUSTING. I can only imagine what the kitchen must look like if there are unidentifiable objects where they shouldn't be in the food. I asked for a decent portion of steak - no dice - it has "always been that portion" NOT! No apology was made - at first - for the long wait for a table, again, 60 minutes at lunch time from entering to service of food. Finally a manager appeared. He DID comp the food and weakly apologized then disappeared again. I was actually shocked a manager existed since he was nowhere to be found during the lunch rush and ensuing chaos in the restaurant. The waitress was young and clueless; made situation worse by asking me if anything else had gone wrong. EVERYTHING had gone wrong--ridiculous. Clearly the wait staff was whispering about our table. One heavyset waitress walked by me and smirked at me. As we were leaving another waitress attempted to do damage control and was nice, explaining a lot of people had been "fired" - clearly not enough have been fired! Stone Chase used to be delicious, but no more. If you like tasteless food, bad management, a long wait, snarky and/or clueless waitstaff, tasteless food, beyond CHEAP portions, then go to Stone Chase. If not, there are plenty of non-dysfunctional restaurants in this area. You've been warned.

Food was very good for the price. We had a horrible waitress, unfortunately. But when I brought it to the attention of the manager, he did an excellent job handling it. I'll go back, hopefully the service from the staff will match that of the management.

I was in the area for a lunch meeting with some clients, and decided to choose Stonechase. Overall it was a pleasant, if unmemorable experience. Nothing really stood out. We started with the bruschetta chicken egg rolls, which to me is just a strange combination that doesn't quite work. I had the Steak Wedge Salad, which was tasty and had a good amount of beef. I wasn't a fan of the long rectangular plate though...maybe I'm just nitpicking, but it's a weird choice for a salad. I then had a few bites of BBQ chicken flatbread that was shared with the table. Again, not bad, but nothing special either. Stonechase isn't a bad restaurant by any means, but I just feel there's a better place to spend $15-20 on a meal.

The food was good thank god but the service?? Awfully bad! Silverware was dirty, waitress was super slow almost chocked eating because they didn't even bring water.. Too bad the service didn't match the food!
