Hello Florian!

I noticed something weird in the RGEs for the massparameters in the 2HDM. For example: In the 2HDM-type-III in the beta function for m_11^2 there are the terms:
lambda_6*m_12
and
m_12*tr(epsilon_U*Y_U^dagger).
These are not necessarily real in general, while m_11^2 should be. Is there an option that puts these parameters to be real by default somewhere that I have missed?

good question. I have to think about that. I was quickly checking http://arxiv.org/abs/hep-ph/0211440, where I took the generic exprssions from, and it seems at first glance that they treat the lambdas as real.

I think the original method that you use is fully general. I would guess that there is a complex conjugate term missing somewhere in SARAH, which also would explain a factor of two difference in the complex terms.

Also the Yukawa terms do not appear symmetrically in the beta functions for m_11^2 and m_22^2 in 2HDM type III, which I think they should.

sorry. It took really a long time before I could take a closer look at that. Actually, in this context, I decided to rewrite large parts of the non-SUSY RGE routines because they were really terrible slow.
I think the issue with the factor of 2 for m12 and the non-symmetric Yukawas is solved. I also understood where the assumption in the calculation is done that Lambda's and m12 are real. However, I haven't had time to generalise this as well, because that would be a few more days of work. So far, I'm just printing a warning to point this out. I hope that I find some time to continue the work on that in the near future, but I can't promise it. (So, I hope you don't have in mind to enter the business with CPV right now?)
