Google Sheets just got better.

Google Sheets the equivalent of MS Excel, has been rebuilt from the ground up to give a better user experience.

If you want to try this out now, go to your drive, select settings and select the editing tab. You can then choose to try "New Google Sheet".

Among the highlight feature additions is the ability to create and edit spreadsheets offline (as long as you have enabled off line), filter views that allow you to alter your view of a spread sheet with out affecting other collaborators. There are new functions and this comes with inline suggestions and help as you start typing you formula.

On top of all this there have been improvements in performance with better scrolling and faster updates on calculations.
