Eric most recently worked at MySpace as a Manager of Sales Systems and Relations. He has worked on Netflix's, Entertainment Weekly's and Infoseek's advertising sales forces, has interned at Lynda Obst Productions and Robert Lawrence Productions, and has been an independent website designer for both companies and individuals. Eric's design, management, sales and marketing experience covers many diverse areas.
After learning the basics of website design and HTML once the WWW came about, Eric successfully ran his own website design firm for three years. While enjoying success as a website designer and search engine optimizer, the changes in the internet from a static to a dynamic medium led him to investigate other solutions. With a business partner he formed Gold Zeppelin, a web development firm which only recently closed its doors. Eric still maintains some clients such as Jack Miles and Catherine Wallace.
A storyteller at heart, Eric is also a screenwriter and a filmmaker as well as a film critic who is interested in the intersection of postmodern culture and spirituality. Eric has spoken at the Getty Museum about the history of Christ in film, and he has written reviews, essays and articles for Christianity Today, The Mars Hill Review, The City of the Angels Film Festival, The Bastard Quarterly and The Ooze. He also serves as media consultant for Homiletics Magazine. Eric has seen thousands of movies and has rated nearly all of them at the imdb (this page takes a few moments to render) as well as at Netflix (where he has more than 5,000 Cinematch ratings).
