Very honored and privileged to have served as lead counsel with my colleagues David Olson and Josh Schiffer representing Plaintiff Olivia Johnson in this historic, record settlement in a severe burn case against a teacher and principal in a public Georgia high school.

NEAL LAW WINS RECORD SETTING MILLION DOLLAR JURY VERDICT FOR MOTORCYCLIST RUN DOWN BY DRUNK DRIVER
Atlanta, Ga. - (March 31, 2015) – On March 12, 2015, Joseph R. Neal, Jr., Esq., Principal and Founder of NEAL LAW, and one of the top trial lawyers in Georgia and America, obtained a $1,033,736.30 record setting jury verdict in the small town of Thomson, Georgia (pop. 20,000) in the Superior Court of McDuffie County on behalf of his client, Ulysses Rodney Anderson, against a drunk driver who ran over him, fled the scene, and then came back thirty minutes later and blamed the wreck on the Plaintiff.
The wreck occurred on the causeway to the Little River Bridge on Clark’s Hill Lake in Lincoln County, Georgia after Mr. Neal’s client passed the drunk driver in a no passing zone to get away from his weaving and slamming on brakes.  The drunk driver then rear-ended Mr. Anderson and fled the scene.  The State Patrol blamed the wreck on Mr. Neal’s client for passing in a no passing zone, based on the eyewitness statement of the assistant police chief of Lincoln County, who was off duty at the time and blamed Mr. Neal’s client for tailgating, speeding, and passing cars on a double yellow line.  Mr. Neal, an expert in discovery tactics and a masterful cross-examiner, was able to prove the assistant police chief lied about receiving a Purple Heart and a Silver Star on government job applications, which are violations of the Federal Stolen Valor Act, and made short shrift of the defense accident reconstruction witness.
“Justice was served in McDuffie County for Rodney Anderson.  The tire marks talked.  The defense had to go out of state and into outer space to defend this case.  No one deserved justice more than my hard working, humble client, who was living the American Dream until it was stolen from him by a remorseless drunk driver.”  Mr. Neal has a statewide litigation practice in Georgia with offices in Atlanta and Augusta.  He can be reached at 706-829-6229 or joenealjr@neal-law.com.  His website is www.neal-law.com.  Connect with Mr. Neal on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and Google +.
