Deadline is May 30 to register for the ACS GCI Student Workshop

Students attending the ACS Green Chemistry Institute® Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference, June 17-19, 2014, have the opportunity to attend a full-day workshop on the preceding day, June 16. The workshop will show you how to evaluate the impact of chemicals and determine the greenest options for your lab processes.

Dr. Marty Mulvihill, Executive Director of the Berkeley Center for Green Chemistry, will be leading the workshop at the American Chemical Society’s National Headquarters in downtown Washington DC. The following experts will also be on hand to mentor, lecture, and engage students in innovative green chemistry activities:

· Marie Bourgeois of University of South Florida
· David Constable, Director of the ACS Green Chemistry Institute®
· Doug Raynie, South Dakota State University

This opportunity is free to undergrad, graduate, and post doc students who are already attending the conference. The deadline to sign up for the workshop is May 30th at 5:00 p.m. ET
