A close up of some externally fine rubber-like 3d printed parts for a specialist application.

The part geometry is some way below the generally recommended wall thickness for this material, but our careful build optimisation ensured the parts printed successfully.

We've been helping an engineering student produce parts for a national competition. After discussing the possibilities FDM printed ABS was selected and the parts orientated for strength.
