Awesome service and food overall. Wait time was a little bit of a pain, but if you have time I definitely recommend it. I had the Plow breakfast and loved it. They were able to accommodate my poached egg request. The potatoes were divine -- just the right amount of crunch. As a new arrival I have been trying to figure out which eateries I would like to investigate, and this place happened to be down the street from my new apartment. After trying it out I think I will make this a Sunday standard. I also plan on bringing friends and family when they visit.

The most delicious breakfast!! The food is prepared in front of you. The portions overflow. Customers line up outside for a spot. Loved the eggs Benedict. It's all fresh and very tasty!

Every now and then when I review a place I wish I could give a bonus star because the experience was so beyond my expectations, and plow is one of them. The atmosphere of this tiny restaurant is super cool. There are little wooden tables and a bar that faces the kitchen. We sat at the bar and watched the cooks prepare the food in a way that I an only describe as a dance-like performance. The kitchen is very small so they had to work together to cook the food and prepare the plates. My husband and I were completely entranced watching them. Then the food... We both ordered the Plow. My order consisted of almond flour pancakes, rosemary potatoes, eggs, and apple chicken sausage. It was the most delicious breakfast I have had potentially ever. I am contemplating a trip back to San Francisco just to eat here again. Note to people with food allergies: if you are sensitive to cross contamination, this is not the place for you, as everything is cooked on the same griddle.

The salad was great but they forget my order. I was sat at the bar and the staff discussed the issue as if I wasn't there. When my salad finally turned up I was given no apology. Sort your staff out. Hipster might think they're cool but that doesn't make them good waiters.

One of my favorite brunch places in the city! Sadly it's kind of in the middle of nowhere and there is nowhere to go during the long wait. It's worth the wait occasionally, though. Whatever you do, get the crispy potatoes and the lemon ricotta pancakes!! You might have a heart attack, but at least your belly will be smiling.

Pros: - crispy potatoes (everything you could ever want in fried potato chunks) - lemon ricotta pancakes ( crispy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside, great balance of lemon and cheese) - waitress was super nice and gave us blankets because it was chilly on the patio Cons: - 1 hour wait at 1:20pm on a Sunday afternoon Bottom line: must go at least once! If it weren't for the long wait, I would definitely go more often.

We went there for new years eve breakfast in hopes it wouldn't be a long wait. However, wrong!!! After almost 2 hour wait ... we were sat at the counter. Ambiance: Very relaxed. The service is friendly and fast. I had the basic 2 eggs with lemon ricotta pancakes. They are goooood! Wish I could get the receipt and make them at home. Overall, I would go back but it is a commitment, due to the very long wait. So maybe I'll be back later in the year when it warms up.

Worth the 30 minute wait for early Saturday brunch. I had the eponymously named Plow, and plowed it right into my mouth. Fantastically delicious, the lemon ricotta pancakes in particular were amazing.
