Robby Gordon Speed Energy Stadium Trucks SeriesRobby Gordon SpeedEnergy Baja meets Bigfoot. SST stands for Stadium SUPER Trucks which takes OFF-ROAD Racing to the next level. Stadium SUPER Trucks is a entertainment show that brings all the fundamentals of baja desert racing to YOU, the racing fan if you never have had the opportunity to witness 1st hand. SST also brings BIGFOOT® – The Original Monster Truck back to life to be part of the show. SST Racing’s field consists of 30 custom-made trucks, specifically made for stadiums and built by the off-road legend, Robby Gordon. Gordon, a one time champion of the Mickey Thompson Off-Road Series is revitalizing Thompson’s series and making it BIGGER, BETTER and BADDER.
The difference between other series and desert off-road racing is the concept of no teams. This means each truck is built and maintained by SST Racing. All trucks are built exactly the same and is dyno-ed before each event to keep an even playing field for each driver. Before each SST event, a driver will draw for his chassis number and will be dyno-ed on the spot, inspected by a SST official and ready for the provided driver’s sponsored body panels. Each driver is allow 3 fully decaled sponsored body kits for each event. Each driver with his two allowed crew members are then allowed to adjust their shocks, springs, steering and seating position. Any other unapproved adjustments to the trucks are detrimental to SST Racing and will not be tolerated.

Some may think that we don't have a real off-road racing team, but we have a fast truck and don't really give a s**t what you think. The Nitro Circus/Thrillbillies team enters the Off-Road Mint 400 in Vegas this weekend!

#Baja1000 2012 a repeat for Tavo and Gus #Vildolsola - the first #Mexican National team to claim the #Tecate SCORE #Baja1000 victory in it’s 43rd edition 2010 #racing to #LaPaz

Tavo and Gus #Vildolsola are the first #Mexican National team to claim the #Tecate SCORE #Baja1000 victory in it’s 43rd edition 2010 !! Averaging 55.8 mp/h in their #21 #RedBull #TrophyTruck they covered the distance of 1061 miles from #Ensenada to #LaPaz in 19:00:04 hrs. With that Vildolsola Racing also beat the motorcycle overall time of the winning 1x Honda. Robby Gordon, in his first outing with new colors – he’s now sponsored by his own, new energy drink “Speed Energy” finished in second place. He damaged a drive shaft and had some GPS issues throughout the race. Robby Gordon claims this is what cost him the overall win.
Roger Norman and Navigator Lance Clifford piloted the Crystal Bay Casino Ford #8 Trophy Truck to a hard fought 3rd place. Alternator issues during the race been reported.
BJ “Ballistic” Baldwin in his #97 General Tire shoed Trophy Truck finishes 4th after some late race repairs (crankshaft sensor replacement about 20 miles out from the finish-line) and hard push for the front. Gary Weyhrich crosses the finish line in 5th place and is the first of the Jimco made Trophy Trucks.

Roczen had a great start in his heat and maintained a great pace out front to stay inside the top three for the six lap race. He crossed the checkers in 3rd position to easily transfer to the main.
