While getting ready for the +BlogPaws  conference, I realized business cards can be a metaphor for our life. Mine were hopelessly outdated – I’ve traveled down a path with many twists and turns since I began blogging nearly 6 years ago and I realized they need a major overhaul. Not just the cards, but an overhaul on how I thought of myself – had I met the goals I had set for myself or am I still on a journey for something greater?

Check it out – it’s a post that will get you to thinking about your own life and how you want others to perceive you.

If you're anything like me, the worst part of traveling is figuring out the transportation to and from the hotel. Well, I've got fabulous news for those of you going to +BlogPaws  and flying into ‪#Phoenix.

+Uber  is the OFFICIAL official transportation service for bringing attendees to the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass.

The basics are:
• You should download the Uber app beforehand, if you do not have it already.
• You will receive a promo code to use for Uber from the PHX airport to the hotel. The code will only be good for travel from the airport to the hotel and it will cover your whole fare with UberX.
• Most Uber drivers will welcome pets. But, just in case, if you are traveling with a pet you should call your Uber driver and make sure it's okay.
• You are welcome to carpool

For transportation back to the airport, BlogPaws will be providing shuttle buses that will make rounds on Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM every 20 -30 minutes. The buses are pet friendly.

Be on the lookout for the dedicated email with the specific Uber transportation details about a week before the event!

Cute cat pictures on the Internet - as a society, we can't get enough of them. But there's another side to the story - please join me at +BlogPaws  today to read my provocative take on the subject. I'd love some conversation and ideas so we can help make a dent in cat overpopulation and get more cats adopted! http://blogpaws.com/executive-blog/pet-parenting-health-lifestyle/cats/break-out-of-your-blogging-niche-to-make-strides-in-cat-welfare/

This is the best +BlogPaws  post ever as we count down the days to the 2016 conference that will be held at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa, June 23 - 25!!

Everything you can possibly think of is covered - who was nominated for a Nose-to-Nose award or a Certificate of Excellence by the Cat Writers' Association. What to wear to a BlogPaws conference, who the speakers are, what's included in registration price, hotel and transportation information, how to schedule seminar events, and what you can expect to learn. You can also find out if you can bring a pet, if in-room internet is included, if there will there be a cat lounge, exhibit hours, and so much more!!

If you still have a question, please don't hesitate to ask! My only question is, are you going, and if not, why not!!

In case you missed it, a fantastic discussion at +BlogPaws  on how to handle negative blog comments. I've had a handful and I try to use them as a learning tool rather than take them too personal. Would love to have some interaction!  http://blogpaws.com/executive-blog/blogging-social-media-info/comments-on-your-blog/how-to-handle-negative-blog-comments/

Great interview with Denise Fleck who will be speaking at this year's +BlogPaws  conference. She'll be part of a +Cat Writers' Association panel  along with +Dr. Marty Becker  and Dr. Elizabeth Colleran, discussing Fear Free vet visits and how to get to know your pet by performing a weekly head-to-tail check-up. http://goodnewsforpets.com/denise-fleck/
