Nice environment. Menu is confusing for even the most intelligent of people (not referring to myself). Coffee was warm at best. Food was very good and service was great.

Delightful lunch. Bibb lettuce salad with slivers of crunchy veggies ( radish, cucumber) to keep it interesting. My friend had a lovely omelet and I had the Alaskan wild salmon because it was served with fiddlehead ferns. Morels completed the dish. Kasi Shelton, the friendly and hospitable sommelier, poured half glasses of just the right wine for each of us. Service was attentive but paced to you, which in our case was leisurely .

The decor is quite simple, but good food!

This is a fantastic mid town restaurant. Recently changed menu focuses on smaller plates with an incredible variety. Love it. Highly recommend.

"Food and service used to be better...even for us media types. Almost impossible to have a work-related conversation if you're in the biz. Fun to people watch if you know the titles. Disappointed that the free cookies are no longer served and LA, the sommelier is no longer there. I would call it ""80s Californian"" due to the heave sauces and uninventive menu of yesteryear, though service is very good."
