OpenID Connect ... is it wishful thinking on my part? Or could this be a valuable step towards building an e-Trust ecosystem? Comments?
(Yes I do know it is not great on Entitlement, but that's another step!)

I suspect that you'd agree that the combination of Exquisite Mapping skills and Inveterate Implementation Skills, is a pretty hard play to beat!  The second part being where the value is ACTUALLY created. Many folks have great ideas in the shower! If they actually Mapped them and then delivered on them, the shower room would become the weapon of choice! ;-)
Throughout this blog and my talks, I've covered the question of mapping (understanding the board), the rules of the game (economic change) and given examples of game play. Mapping is critical to understanding the environment ...

My attempt to use technology to encourage me to exercise has caused, a series of those lovely moments of enlightenment. First it exposed me to the importance of FIDO and a load more alliances that aim to accelerate the development of interoperability at the next level on the InterWeb. These Alliances whether FIDO or the folks behind  development of Smart-BlueTooth standards to measure Cadence (how fast one pedals on an exercise bike), are  all aimed at adding a simple and usable meaning layer. Step by step attribute by attribute meaning is being added to measurements, sadly at a rate that is currently slower than snail pace. The issue is that the purveyors of the first or early sensors do not want it to be easy for machines to understand what humans want to measure. They understandably want to keep it a high cost affair. But the flood of cheaper sensors and Open Source hardware will soon make it a trivial thing for me to measure new things and simply capture these measurements. When this starts to occur I will be able to say things to my Smart House like: "If the rain-fall this week is below 1 cm can you water the grass at the back, and if the pond water level falls by 3 cm please top it up."

All because I started thinking about becoming a Maker of my own cadence sensor. Building an Arduino Sensor was a doddle, I mentally mapped out the components and the base sensor code in minutes, the problem very quickly became how can I get it to talk with meaning to my Digifit App!

Smart agents can only be smart when they have access to the right data, and this data as with all data us human deal with, must have clear enough meaning.  So let's start to see an acceleration in the development of this measurement with meaning layer. Seems like a great opportunity for Open Source.... Well blow me down!... they are already on it  :-)  See link below...

We should probably be on the look out for the Consumerisation of SCADA on this years LEF Study Tour. We already have FIDO. :-)

To my LEF colleagues take a look at the 2x2 on the front page of the opensourcesensing.org site. If that graphic does not scream Agency at you I do not know what will!! The perfect join of Privacy and Security. The Open Source Sensing folks not only understood the importance of meaning, they also understood the importance of who controls what was meant!

What is more painful than being "owned"? The moment of realizing that no matter what you do, you cannot get the intruder off your network (due to network complexity, size, access control, etc, etc)

1) Not clear on the 3 Months in 3 Years of "Main" Occupation proposal, as it appears to target Holiday Homes in addition to derelict properties or was that the point?

2)  A tweak to the house of representatives concept. Target 50 % retired individuals, 25% unemployed over 16 & under 25's & 25% Working.`
PAYMENT TO THE INDVIDUALS
Working Individuals paid 10% more than their prior annual Salary & Travel Costs
All others paid the average of the payment made to working Individuals

Yes I am proposing to exclude children, prisoners and unemployed individuals over the age of 25

The period of their engagement  15 Months
25% New Representatives every 3 Months
3 Months Training on a purpose developed  campus based program
6-18 Months on the HoR
6 Months for low engagement
18 Months for high engagement
A lunchtime noodle ... There is over 220,000 long term vacant properties in the UK along with apparently over 500,000 plots of land with planning permission that remain unfinished. They may have started, the proverbial dig...

That was a great Map Reading Blog Simon..  :-)
Mapping is all about situational awareness and understanding the context of a complex system whether an organisation, a line of business or a technical system. Without good situational awareness then it's extremely difficult ...

I want a milk frother, that incorporates an electric motor that is designed to last more than a year! Is it too much to ask. I will pay more !!

I am done with buying "Aerolattes" that are designed to fail...

Build it and I will buy it... Where to put this INTENT?

Bugger!!! Where is this Intention Economy when I need it

14 Years ago the Clue Train Manifesto gave me hope, though I will admit to not fully understanding what I was hoping for...

We still don't have the way to interact that I glimpsed back then....
