Hi all. Haven't been here in ages. Anyone know the limitations for a cover photo/ G+ doesn't like mine but won't tell me why.

It seems to handle larger ones by cropping or resizing. What format is your image in?

morning Jew is my weekly show with NY comic +Katie Halper absurdly surveying the weeks news to find out: is it good for the Jews? This week, hate mail, Woody Allen and Dylan Farrow and Chris Christie and #bridgegate  . A surprising amount that is good for the Jews though a new secular Jewish Jesus search is underway.

The Giant Gray Rabbit
I was not sure if this is the cutest or the most horrifying thing I've ever seen, until I learned the back-story. First horrifying detail: it's real and the man is of average height, not Hobbit size. Second, is that this species of giant gray bunnies are bred by a guy in Germany for food.

I called the Left as the influencer of the identity politics that came to consume (and disempower) the Christian Right back in 2006 in humour piece in THIS Magazine   http://www.thismagazine.ca/issues/2006/01/square.php

Tagline
I DJ people and scale conversations and intimacy. Comic, writer/performer, speaker, tummler, web vet, cookie baker.
Introduction
Heather Gold is a writer/performer and speaker best known for her geek roots, and ability to help people get real in public and scale useful conversations. She's made over 50,000 chocolate chip cookies in her hit solo show "I Look Like An Egg, but I Identify As A Cookie" which was named Best of the Bay and showed at Ars Nova in NY.

Heather has hosted Austin Gay Pride, appeared with performers like Maria Bamford, Bill Irwin and Margaret Cho, written for Alan Cumming and appeared in Wired, NPR, the Wall Street Journal, Tech TV, shift TV, CBC radio, Air America, the San Jose Mercury News, Salon.com, Curve and a pilot for LOGO.

Heather uses performance as a lab, bringing insights  about authenticity, conversation and through engaging keynotes at companies, conferences and colleges around the world like Google, YLE (Finland's BBC) and UXWeek. She also gives UnPresenting workshops and hosts Tummelvision, originally on the TWIT Network, to help teach and explore the art of social engagement.

Heather was a very early part of the web and was part of the team at Apple that created webcasting, Tony Fadell's start up Fuse, focussed on creating an mp3 player and digital music service just before the iPod, an early blogger before blogging software and one of the earliest videobloggers or vloggers and an early comedic critic of the web economy.

Much to her parents' delight, she has degrees from Yale and Northwestern Law. To her geek cred, she worked on a team at Apple who helped created webcasting, and on a start-up that designed a precursor to the iPod.

Heather is one of the co-founders of Equality Camp, an effort to help democratize the LGBT and marriage equality movement.
