D. Ken Shaw: Do you feel this is 'Acceptable' to, 'Employers' ?? Will They like it ?
Jodie Gastel: I think it would depend on the employer, really. If you're wanting a job where there needs to be not only a strong presence but also a strong understanding of the tools and capabilities available online, then yes. As a way to have another method to present information about yourself online if employers use the internet to search your background, then yes - as an adjunct - it would add another facet. Should it be the only thing you use? No. I see Visualize.Me as a snapshot; a concise, visual summary for people to see at-a-glance what you have done and where your skills are. The old rule of thumb still applies: research the company you are applying to, then communicate with them in the way they wish to be communicated with. If that "way" doesn't sit well with you, then don't apply. Life's too short ;)
