Washington, DC, known as TriTown USA, welcomes triathletes and their friends and families for the Washington DC Triathlon, brought to you by the producers of The Nation’s Triathlon. The Washington DC Triathlon is a swimming, biking and running tour of Washington’s most spectacular monuments and national treasures, featuring Sprint and International distance courses.
The 5150 Series is the largest international distance triathlon series in the world and offers a competitive platform for professional and age group athletes. The 2012 event schedule will offer 11 domestic events as well as 6 international races. The Official Charity of Washington DC Triathlon is ACHIEVE Kids Tri, Inc. ACHIEVE provides at-risk youth ages 9-14 with a free, life-changing experience by introducing them to the sport of triathlon. Through the generous donations of our supporters ACHIEVE raised over $13,000 at last year's ACHIEVE Benefit during event weekend!
