It's really amazing when I look back at the pictures how far my yard has come in a little over 1 year! The pics tell the story, so stop on by and see for yourself. I have a new outdoor project to do soon with my dad to beautify an ugly wall that I try to hide!

Today's Fashion over 50 is my friend, Karen, who is updating her wardrobe. She shopped for clothes and then she and I shopped for jewelry and shoes to mix in. She looks fantastic!

Sharing the HGTV Urban Oasis home in Asheville,NC on the blog today. It might not be for everyone's taste, but I think it's a neat modern bungalow. See what you think!

Super happy to be featured in a local magazine right here in my own Cobb County! Little Black Dress/Little Red Wagon Magazine Editor Elizabeth, came out to my house for an interview and photos of my house. If you are local, the August issue is out now with a feature on my house & blog. My dad is part of it too & I'm so happy to share the spotlight with him once again! Thank you, Elizabeth for the fun feature!

Sharing the house reveal that myself & 7 other bloggers completed for Habitat for Humanity in Dekalb for a deserving family.  This was such a fun and rewarding experience to be a part of and I will never forget it.  Making this house pretty for this family was so fun to watch happen!   GMC made it happen by sponsoring this whole event and I'm grateful to be a part of it!   #gmchta

Last Sunday, I was experiencing one of the most exciting and rewarding adventures in my blogging career and we were finishing up the Habitat for Humanity house here in ATL. Today I'm sharing the GMC Hidden Treasure Adventure & all the particulars of what we shopped for and how it all works. What a fun experience it was and we would all do it over again. Shopping the longest yardsale, over 900 miles in a GMC Denali was so much fun. I saw parts of the country I've never seen before. Nothing better than the backroads of the USA. Come along for the ride! I'll share the finished house soon! http://southernhospitalityblog.com/gmc-hidden-treasure-adv…/

Today I'm sharing an online site Dezignable that offers design help! Do you have a room or house that needs help? You upload pics, tell them what you want and then you'll get back 3 design boards and choose the designer you want to work with. They are giving away a free design to one of my readers, so click over and read the post and sign up at their link! http://southernhospitalityblog.com/dezignable-online-decor…/

Checking out a new shop in Vinings that just opened, The Front Porch of Vinings! Stop by this fun vintage shop for lots of great gifts and decor ideas if you are local to ATL. The owner, Lisa, was so friendly and excited about her cute space. http://southernhospitalityblog.com/the-front-porch-in-vini…/

I've been going to Dr. Dale for 10 months and had pretty severe hip pain (stemming from my back). Dr. Dale has been adjusting my back and hip, along with getting me on some natural supplements that have helped my pain tremendously. The pain is almost gone now and I'm feeling so much better since I started with him. I continue to go once a month for maintenance. He's very approachable and knowledgeable about how the body works.
