Sharing progress today on the House for Hope project with Carbine & Associates and Forest Home Media in Nashville. This charity home will open to the public March 4th and I hope to see some of you there. It's a worthy cause and there are several designers and bloggers involved in this project from start to finish. This is my first time doing something quite like this and I'm so honored to be part of it. I think my cute laundry/mudroom space is going to be so stylish. Stop by and see my plan of action! Big thanks to HomeGoods for their help in getting this project finished with accessories. It takes a village to do something like this! I love that I get to do things like this as a blogger!

t's Fashion over 50 day and I'm sharing some sale items I found at Loft stores. I haven't gotten them in yet, but they were on major sale so take a look if you're looking to add a few things to your wardrobe. Also, sharing my love for a new TV show, This Is Us that started last season and began again last night. Do you watch this show? It hooked me from the very first show. You have to watch from the beginning if you're going to start it because it jumps back and forth from past history to current. The family dynamics and characters are SO good. I haven't been this excited about a TV show in forever! Stop on by! #fashionover50

I'll be honest, it's been a real slow start to the New Year for me. I caught a cold/crud thing around January 1st and have been dealing with that for a week or so. I'm slowly getting my energy back and starting to feel back to normal, but combine that with the end of the year doldrums that always seem to happen for me after Christmas is over and it's a pretty slow time. We had snow over the weekend and I just haven't even been out that much la...

Happy New Year to all of you! Today I'm sharing Pantone color of the year, Greenery. It's a bold and refreshing green and I actually really like green a lot. I've pulled together some design photos to share this inspiring color, so would love for you to take a look. What do you think about this color green? Would you use it as an accent? I've always had green of some shade in my homes and this is one of my favorite shades of green. http://southernhospitalityblog.com/greenery-pantones-color-of-the-year/

I love seeing young (or older) couples taking on fixer upper houses. There seems to be no end to them and there are plenty here in ATL. Meet Amanda with The Tale of an Ugly House. She and her hubby have been working on their fixer upper here in North Atlanta for the last couple of years and wow, has it changed. Stop on by and see the tour for Feature Friday! #decorating #featurefriday

Yay or nay?http://southernhospitalityblog.com/decorating-with-vintage-bamboo/

I've been going to Dr. Dale for 10 months and had pretty severe hip pain (stemming from my back). Dr. Dale has been adjusting my back and hip, along with getting me on some natural supplements that have helped my pain tremendously. The pain is almost gone now and I'm feeling so much better since I started with him. I continue to go once a month for maintenance. He's very approachable and knowledgeable about how the body works.
