This is easily one of the worst things I've ever seen.

For people wondering about the car: it's a mix of JDM versions, including the 205: http://www.caranddriver.com/features/2011-subaru-impreza-wrx-sti-sets-nrburgring-lap-record

Also, that wasn't a mis-shift. You can see him purposefully drop into 2nd for the huge engine braking, then he pops back into 3rd through the turn, and comes out in 4th. He can afford to really beat up the car.

This is my jam. Song and crew are very honest, and will help you with anything. I had some brakes to do, but was given the wrong pads from the local AutoZone. This type of thing happens, and while I was sad to pay for two hours of labor for a typical one-hour job, my car was on their lift for like 4 hours while I scrambled to get proper performance pads. So there's that. At about $80/hour labor, this place is affordable for LA, and he'll actually encourage a lot of people to bring their own parts. Saving you money. If you drive a Subie like I do (and don't have a garage to do your own work), these guys know the cars incredibly well and won't BS you. An honest mechanic is hard to come by. This is one of them.

This place was sketchy. I'd like to contact the owner, but that seems tricky. Sadly, my phone was broken--needed a new SIM card--and I was heading to the proper Verizon store, then mistook this place for that (my bad, I guess that's how badly I rely on Google Maps). They charged me $20 for the SIM card (which you'll get for free from a proper Verizon store, which their sign makes them appear), but apparently the credit card reader was down, so I had to pay in cash. When asked if I wanted a receipt, I said, "Absolutely," but apparently the whole system was having problems. So I got a business card with some random dude who said his name was "Joseph's" signature. For shame. Either they have an employee skimming off the top, or this is just what this sketchy store does. Either way, if I can't contact the manager/owner, I almost feel obligated to let the IRS know the store is taking revenue that definitely isn't getting reported.
