Brad Fralick joined WYFF News 4 as Sports Director in August 2011. He brings a wealth of experience covering high school, college, and professional sports to WYFF News 4 and is thrilled to be part of the anchor team of Carol Goldsmith, Michael Cogdill and John Cessarich weeknights at 6 and 11.
Before coming to WYFF News 4, Fralick served six years as sports director of KAMR/KCIT in Amarillo, Texas. While there, his popular “I Beat Brad” segments showed his passion to not only report sports, but play the game as well. Fralick was also the voice of the West Texas A & M football team and was named color analyst for Amarillo Dusters football radio broadcasts. Before he covered sports in the High Plains of Texas, Brad pitched for the West Texas A & M baseball team. WYFF 4 News Director Justin Antoniotti says “Brad brings a great passion for sports to the Upstate. As a former collegiate athlete he has a unique perspective and knows first-hand the hard work and dedication that goes into playing sports. This allows him to tell compelling stories."
In addition to covering the Tigers, Gamecocks and Paladins every fall, Fralick will also anchor extended coverage of local high school football. WYFF 4’s High School Playbook airs every Friday at 11:15 pm.
When Brad isn’t covering sports.. he enjoys working out.. and spending time with his wife and two boys..
