Let me say thank you to the owner's and staff for always giving such great care to serve my wife and I. The true christian heritage and ministering desire of the founders to have a christian based bed and breakfast and now carried on by their family always makes our stay the most pleasant, peaceful and restful than any place we stay on our travels. Our desire is to visit as much as possible. The quality of the meals would be very hard to top. So much like going to grandma's house including the fresh bake pie's and cakes for your bed time snacks. Sincerely Pastor Ed and Deb Gallimore Floyd Va

The staff and owners were very friendly. The Bed and Breakfast outside needed repairs and updates in the guest rooms as well. They had the old 19 inch tube tv's at least we had wi Fi. No coffee pot in rooms and small refrigerator would be nice. The dessert table that is so talked about the desserts are put out at 6:30 apple cobbler was all three nights with two other added desserts. You got coffee, tea or soda but soda was in liters which some were flat cans kept in refrigerator would've been nicer could take to the room. First breakfast was great stuffed French toast with eggs and bacon the next two breakfasts were fair. This place is nice because kids are allowed and they have cottages to accommodate them. I felt sorry for them if they had to drive up to get desserts. The mountain views were beautiful here. With room updates flat screen tv's coffee pots refrigerator in rooms desserts fresh each day delivered each night could really make a difference. Also outside freshened so you want to take photos or sit out there. Just stayed last week

Sheila, Thank you for your review and I am sorry that our facility did not meet your expectations. Please keep in mind we are a Bed and Breakfast and our rooms were not designed for coffee makers or refrigerators. We are in the process of updating our rooms with flat screen TVs which our deluxe rooms and cottages already have. It is very unfortunate you were not impressed with Temptation Station as so many of our guests are. If I recall over the 3 nights you stayed we served Apple Cobber, Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars, Lemon Bars, Red Velvet Cake, and Homemade Cookies, if desserts are not finished in one evening, you may find them the next night along with something new and fresh. We are sorry you were unable to stay for breakfast your 3rd morning, we served our famous "Southern Breakfast" which consists of homemade biscuits, sausage gravy, slow cooked grits, sausage patties, and fresh fruit. Perhaps if you stay with us in the future, you might like to stay in one of our cottages, they have coffee makers, mini fridges, gas fireplaces, two person Jacuzzi tubs, and flat screen TVs. You do have to walk or drive up to the main house for desserts, though we gladly deliver breakfast each morning. Blessings, Blue Mountain Mist Family

Absolutely one of the best, restful, peaceful places we have stayed. The views are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and it is very close to everything but you feel like you are in the country. Great food, great owners, and it feels like home sweet home.

Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and Cottages was absolutely breathtaking. The service was top notch, and the rooms were very quaint and in keeping with the time period. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning! So clean and we'll kept. I will DEFINITELY go again!! I can't rave about it enough!! Oh and the breakfast, snacks, desert bar, and drink choices were better than any hotel I've stayed in anywhere! If possible try some of Eric 's Sunshine Surprise cake...fantastic!!!

So glad I chose the Blue Mist for my girlfriend and I to stay at during our vacation. Close enough to Pigeon Forge for tourism, but far enough for it to be an extremely peaceful and relaxing stay. The breakfast was phenomenal evert morning, that alone made the stay worth it. Will definitely be staying here again if ever in the area.

This is a wonderful place to stay. I very much enjoyed the great location, and fine breakfasts and afternoon snacks (cakes, cookies and pies). The staff is excellent. This is a very good option if you plan to visit the various trails and sites in the Great Smoky Mtns. National Park.

We honestly are very impressed by the level of service that was given to us. We enjoyed every moment of the stay. After we left we just wanted to go back and stay there forever! We are so grateful of them, from the breakfast to the care and love that was shown to us was more than what we were expecting. It was a surprise for my wife and she was so happy! We stayed in April and the weather was amazing! I highly recommend them. FYI, if you are planning to get a massage, please setup an appointment ahead of time. J & D
