A spin-off of a popular food truck serving Indian fare with a twist, such as tikka masala burritos.- Google
"Chicken tikka masala and paneer tikka masala burrito is excellent."
"They have desert beverages like mango lassi as well as chai."

I ordered a vegan burrito online thinking that I would get as the description says "La Palma tortilla, chana masala (garbanzo beans), turmeric rice and sliced onions with your choice of protein". I didn't selected any protein. Well when I took a few bites I came across some crunchy potatoe tasting item. I called the contact number on the website and spoke to a man. He did apologize and said he would mention it to their website designer. I asked him what he could do for me and he said he couldn't give me a refund. I told him that I looked at the description of the item and I got more than what was on the description. He should've offered a refund or offered to put in a new order for me. I'm left a very unsatisfied customer. I was on my lunch break and tried to get the most convenient and fast item but it didnt workout that way. This is the 3rd time I go after placing an order online and when I get there, my order isn't ready and this is after receiving the text.

Hi Dinorah - while we appreciate your feedback and take all our reviews seriously, this review should have been posted on our food truck and not our Valencia street restaurant. Would you be kind enough to remove this post and post it on the correct location? I also saw your comment come through Square. You can also email me directly at info@curryupnow.com and I would be more than happy to chat with you about your experience and see how we can make changes for the better. Thank you!

Really terrible service. Have been served meat 2 twice now - once two years ago at the Palo alto location and again at the 659 Valencia, San Francisco location last week. It is really mentally disturbing for a vegetarian to have had meat even if it was just one bite but apparently this place doesn't respect people's sentiments. Had stopped eating here after the first incident but then thought maybe I should try again after 2 years and the problem still holds. Nothing changed after complaining and requesting them to improve on their staff. This has happened to another friend of mine as well. Extremely extremely disappointed with curry up now. Swear to never ever visit here again.

Love Curry Up Now. Creative flavorful dishes. Reasonable prices. Probably my favorite incarnation of the fast-fresh genre like Chipotle or whatever.

I first tried Curry Up Now at an Off the Grid food truck event in Oakland trying their naughty naan (open face sandwich). It's like a pizza with curry meat on naan bread. And we all know how amazing naan bread is :) Today, I wanted to try something different and went with a quesadilla with lamb. The lamb was tender and soaked with flavor. The naan breading was crisp to perfection. The quesadilla had healthy portions of lamb and cheese in it. Will definitely get the quesadilla again! $9.75 for a quesadilla is a bit pricy given a quesadilla (super suiza) at El farolito would be like $6.25 but having the curry flavored meat is a nice touch if you enjoy a Mexican quesadilla but with an Indian twist. Staff was courteous, place was clean, accepts credit cards.

Placed an order for paneer and they served chicken. This has happened twice now at different locations. Serious problems with communication within the staff. I also know a friend with whom this happened twice. So pretty sure I'm not returning to a place where they can't get one order right.

The food here is quite good if you're looking for fast Indian that isn't the usual. I love that you can have naan and tikka masala sauce dip as a snack--the best part of leftovers in a non-leftover! Awesome. Their mango lassi is tasty as well. This place isn't super big, but does feature a large communal table in the middle. It's a great place to bring a large group of people since everyone orders at the counter so you don't have to worry about divvying up a bill at the end of the evening.

Great idea - authentic flavors and ingredients in unique forms for Indian food. The deconstructed samosa was awesome and quesadilla was abit overstuffed and messy but still pretty tasty. Great mango lassi too!
