Have been to this location a few times. The food was good, but we had multiple issues with services (lack of drink refills, delay of some people's orders) on our last visit. We finally complained to the manager which improved nothing; we continued to request refills to no avail. This all with about five tables of customers. Will not be back.

A recent evening was probably our fifth or sixth visit to the Bonefish Grill in Cary. Every now and then, we go back in hopes that the experience will be better than the last. This restaurant has always had so much potential, yet continues to fall flat on it's face. I believe that our less-than-pleasant experiences have much to do with the timing of our visits; which should not be the case for a properly managed business. Like many other aging couples, my Wife and I are no longer night owls and usually go out to dine anywhere from 6:00 - 6:30pm. Unfortunately, one of the immediate drawbacks to this is the "Children". Our most recent visit was no doubt one of the worst when it came to the "Children". A family, with three children was seated at the back wall, where the seating is one, long bench, built upon a wood-boxed platform; which when beat against with children's feet, produces an agonizingly loud distraction. This went on during the entire course of our dinner, even after multiple requests to staff, to at least politely request that it Stop! Add this distraction to the fact that always, and I do mean always, at least one of our entrees is cold upon delivery, and has to be returned. I love the Sea Bass, but it's just not good served cold. And there is always at least one side that shows up instead of the side that was ordered. For some reason, all these issues seem to take place at the same time that Managers are standing in one of the corners, chatting it up and having a good laugh, for long stretches. I can only assume that it is well past the Six O'clock dining hour, that Bonefish Grill Staff get up to speed and take their job seriously. My Wife and I have finally decided that we should have taken our dining budget elsewhere, a long time ago.

I have to say, at the outset, that Bonefish in Cary is one of our favorite restaurants. We were entertaining a visitor from Europe and took him to dine there and he loved it . The cocktails were great , service was very good without being overly attentive and the food was creative and good quality. We spent around $300 for the 3 of us including pre dinner drinks and a bottle of champagne. I would like to see someone from the restaurant who made customer contact to ensure that everything is 100% - I like that personal touch from management, but that's just me. Our table was booked for 6 pm and I did notice that the clientele was more family types than couples. I always felt that Bonefish presented itself as a casual eatery with leanings towards pseudo fine-dining. Last evening 50%+ of the customers could have been in Golden Corral, wearing beach shorts or workout gear. I don't mean that to sound snobbish, it was just very noticeable and if I'm having a nice meal, I would rather be in a group dressed smart casual - but that's just me

Wonderful experience. Food was good. At one point when the main course was served, my wife commented her steak was slightly under cooked to her liking (in her defense it was medium at best and not her requested medium-well). The manager stopped by our table twice. The first to make sure everything was OK which my wife said it was. The second time to sincerely offer to have a new steak cooked to her liking. My wife accepted and our dinner experience turned out all the better for it. Reservations strongly suggested since it does seem to get pretty busy. I would recommend this restaurant / location to anyone interested in a stress free night out. Also drinks were made to our liking... Nice and strong!
