Bonefish is one of my favorite restaurants in the Cary area - food is consistently excellent quality, fresh and well prepared - even side dishes. My favorite staple is rainbow trout with whipped garlic potatoes and broccoli or green beans. Fresh hot homemade bread is served with a tasty olive oil dip. An odd thing to mention, I know, but I love even the water can be counted on to be good; I wonder if it's filtered because it doesn't have that awful chemical taste of water served in many places. There is ample staff who make sure everyone at the table is served together and check back a few times during the meal for questions or requests.

Food was great, Bartenders were very unprofessional. Girl bartender obviously did not want to be at work. Oh well. At least the cooks were on point. 4-27-16

Have been to this location a few times. The food was good, but we had multiple issues with services (lack of drink refills, delay of some people's orders) on our last visit. We finally complained to the manager which improved nothing; we continued to request refills to no avail. This all with about five tables of customers. Will not be back.

AMAZING food. Was on a work trip in Raleigh and came here twice, it was that good. Clean (not a lot of grease) and fresh.

I know it's just a chain, but it's still a fish place, right? Right?? I'm not too sure, because everything I ate was just awful. The ceviche was tough and its only flavor was vinegar. Seemed like it been (over)cooked and then chilled, rather than cured in a citrus marinade like real ceviche. So gross. They kindly took it away and off our bill, and I have no complaints about the friendly waitstaff. Also, I really liked my cocktail, a signature margarita. I should have had a few more, I guess. But merciful God, the food. The other seafood I tasted from my and my family's main courses was, without exception, overcooked and either flavorless or fishy-tasting (i.e., not fresh). My tilapia, usually a favorite that is easy to cook right, was just the worst. And the shrimp my son ate were incredibly over-salted and peppered, but not quite enough to disguise the underlying fishy-rancid smell and taste. I wouldn't let him eat it; I was actually concerned he'd get food poisoning. Now, no one did get ill that night, thank goodness. But days later, remembering that meal makes me FEEL pretty damn ill. Someone please, please tell me about a REAL seafood place around here!

I have to say, at the outset, that Bonefish in Cary is one of our favorite restaurants. We were entertaining a visitor from Europe and took him to dine there and he loved it . The cocktails were great , service was very good without being overly attentive and the food was creative and good quality. We spent around $300 for the 3 of us including pre dinner drinks and a bottle of champagne. I would like to see someone from the restaurant who made customer contact to ensure that everything is 100% - I like that personal touch from management, but that's just me. Our table was booked for 6 pm and I did notice that the clientele was more family types than couples. I always felt that Bonefish presented itself as a casual eatery with leanings towards pseudo fine-dining. Last evening 50%+ of the customers could have been in Golden Corral, wearing beach shorts or workout gear. I don't mean that to sound snobbish, it was just very noticeable and if I'm having a nice meal, I would rather be in a group dressed smart casual - but that's just me

Came for desserts. They were great. Would have scored higher if the hostess was more approachable. She sat us and explained she was tired and ready to go.
