Sean Jackson is an
accomplished marketing technology professional with more
than 17 years experience with new media technologies.
After graduating from Boston University with a BSBA in 1989, Sean worked in investment banking as a financial analyst. His passion for technology lead him to multimedia in 1992 at a small startup company. In 1995 Sean started Digital Marketing Service and quickly grew the company as the primary web application builder for companies like GTE/Verizon, Nortel Networks and other Fortune 1000 companies. In 1998 Sean sold the company to Griffith Phillips and assumed the role of Director of Technology and New Business Development. In this role Sean continued to develop online applications and strategies for numerous enterprise companies including Nokia. In 2003 Sean left Griffith Phillips and started Ecordia developing application platforms that aid and assist marketing departments with their online marketing communications.
In 2010, Sean became a partner in Copyblogger Media and the company CFO.
Sean is an active member of the Dallas business community; serving as Vice President of the DFW Search Marketing Association, a frequent speaker PubCon, AAF and other organizations; and is the past President of the Dallas Ad League – the oldest business organization in North Texas and founder of the Better Business Bureau and American Advertising Federation.
