Cake Buffet! Not as good as I had hoped...
Ninety-Four Coffee
Suthep, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai 50200
My wife and I visited 94 Coffee for their Cake Buffet and were quite under-whelmed. They only offer one drink as part of the buffet and all their cakes taste the same - more like different coloured sponge cakes than different flavours! Their waffle sandwiches were tasty though.

I wouldn't say that it was very good value for money considering some of the other buffet options available in Chiang Mai.
Quality Good

Found a great tool for managing my git workflow - SmartGit. Its amazing how much this has made it a breeze for managing my commits. Instead of just committing whatever I'm working on, I can now separate the component changes into individual commits easily. Unlike other git clients, it doesn't hide away the full power of git - it makes it more accessible.
What is SmartGit? SmartGit is an efficient user interface for Git, Mercurial and Subversion. It focuses on simplicity and is geared towards non-experts and people who prefer a graphical application ov...

Make your dynamic application behave like it should with bookmarks.js - a tiny script that enables you to define states for the back and forward buttons of the users browser. Gets rid of some usability problems associated with ajax.

Made green curry chicken for dinner last night. It was really good thanks to the super fresh green curry paste from the markets next door.

Any of the +Google Chrome Developers or +Paul Irish have any tips on how to style the Chrome calendar picker? I'm looking at giving it the same appearance as used in the twitter bootstrap framework so it ties in nicely with my application.

I got the new +Google Chrome date picker thing today. I must say that I'm underwhelmed. It suffers from some severe usability issues (just try selecting a date that isn't within the current year). Its a step forward from the jQuery stock date picker but it really needs the month and year to be able to be selected independently of each-other (as is configureable in the jQuery UI date picker).

All that being said it a great step forward, I'm sick of having to pull in the jQuery UI library just for date selection.

Date Picker landed on Chrome Canary and Chromium!

By specifying type="date", input element shows little triangle next to its input box. By clicking it, users can now use date picker to fulfill the date parameter far easier than ever without any JavaScript!
<input type="date" min="2010-08-14" max="2011-08-14" value="2010-08-14"/>

Try it on HTML5Rocks slides: http://slides.html5rocks.com/#new-form-types

This lovely little cafe feels like it could have been plucked from the streets of Europe. My wife and I came in here to relax and catch up on emails in a recent trip to Bangkok and found the drinks absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was really laid back and comfortable - the perfect place to escape from the busyness of Bangkok.

Service was bad, the drinks we had didn't taste good - especially for the huge price tag.
