Where do you put your header files? I mean all those <link rel>
Do you put them into every component file or do you make a single catch all header, included everywhere?

if you are using behaviors to breakout common code for reuse, you can move all the common imports into the BaseBehavior to reduce code copy too

Thank you for this useful video. I liked that the comparison was made playing a groove, ratear than soloing, this makes it easier to see the point in a real life simulation. Useful and free from narcissism.
I think I am looking for a Thomastick sound, but will go through the video some more times before deciding. Faltwounds can stay on for year or two, so it is better to take a good decision.

I find it very difficult to make the samples work, because I have to dig in the code the "headers" which are needed and to remap them to ../../bower_components.
I always suspect that my <link rel> are too many and I often wonder which one is missing, when I see plain text instead of that beautiful material stuff.
I am building a Cordova application, so I will probably have to move the headers I need out of bower_components, to package everything inside a www directory.
If there is not already some better solution that I have not yet read of, I propose to review documentation, simplify the process, to consider putting together a single <link rel> header for every period in the elements and maybe working on a preprocessor able to analyze the html code and output a list of includes that should be there.
Thanks for any help.

I have come to the conclusion that the best solution is to remap the physical file structure to a url structure that makes this easy. You will see me asking questions about polylint for precisely that reason. I haven't got to set my project up completely yet, because some other work I have to do has kept me away from it for a few days, but I am thinking that I will map the url "/components" to BOTH the bower_components directory AND app/elements directory in my application (where url "/" maps to the app directory). Polyserve already does a slightly different version of this for developing stand alone elements. This means all my application elements can then html import with the canonical ../polymer/polymer.html, and all my test scripts can import with ../../polymer/polymer.html. All this implies that I put my elements into their own directory under app/elements, and there is a potential for a name clash between bower_components and my elements - but in reality its not going to happen as you need to make your element names unique in any case.

Story
Introduction
In four words: passionate, creative, deep, viral.
In 1985 I started programming compilers, device drivers and a kernel debugger in C and/or assembly. In 1995 I set up the first internet access provider network and portal in italy and wrote its mail server, serving 50.000 users, in C++.
I created datacenters, services and web applications mostly in Java.
Today I am still passionate about programming and its epistemology: languages, architectures, operating systems, methodologies and I have always energized the teams I have worked with.
I experienced life and work in the United States for two years.
I have been writing a monthly column on programming since 1995, and wrote a book on Java.
What I generally do in a company is innovate, reshape develop, motivate, grow, educate, promote, organize.
When I am not doing it, I may be found at jazz or blues jam sessions playing bass, I like being the foundation.
