After receiving help to set up Iroam Sim card while on the trip, everything work fine until I need to purchase additional time. Worldwide # 611 was not responsive, and after many try I had to switch to more expensive but more reliable Rogers. Your customer service is terrible. I guess you get what you pay for! Alex Zatulovsky

Paid $170 for their UK phone, SIM card and $50 talk/text time. No service right from day 1. Only 4 of my hundreds of calls actually connected. One text said "sent" did not, and left me alone at night waiting for a pickup that had no idea where I was. DANGEROUS! 611 Calls to their service said "no such number" as did 311 calls to access my account. Was charged $13 when they called me to give me advice for using US phone in UK ( I had their UK phone), then emailed me info for a different model. Useless. I asked for my money back, and why I only have $3.77 left after making 4 calls in UK. "Your problem has been resolved" is repeated answer. CROOKS!

Do not bother buying this. Service would drop calls to Canada from Sweden. As for texting, I would get the same text from friends 20 times, at various hours over a 24 hour period. It got so ridiculous that I asked friends to put a time stamp in their text so I knew exactly when the text was sent, as it got very confusing. My friends would sometimes receive my outgoing texts an hour late. The data rate is very expensive. I recommend just buying a SIM card from a company like Vodaphone in Europe.

Received SIM card within a few days of signing up over a year ago.. Easy to install in unlocked phone. This is a perfect solution when going to USA, NO roam charges. Also great in Europe. sent and rec'd calls when in Portugal last year. Sure recommend it if you travel. $14.95 SIM card renewal every 6 months is easy and problem free.

Excellent service. I received the SIM card and cell phone in 2 days via express shipping. I called customer service to activate my SIM and it was done in no time by a friendly representative. I like the fact that it is a fully prepaid service, so no surprise bills. It's easier to plan your budget for the trip. You can choose to have a local phone number, so your contacts do not incur long distance charges to call you while you travel.

I have used this company for a few years and find that overall it works very well in Europe and is reasonably priced. I would have given five stars except that the email service for inquiries simply doesn't work (They don't answer the customers question) However on the plus side the customer service representative I spoke to on the phone was excellent

The iRoam SIM card is a piece of junk. My children were traveling alone to India and I wanted them to be able to call multiple countries while enroute. I did my research online, called iRoam, spoke with Staples where I purchased the SIM card, etc. to get precise instructions on how the SIM would work in different countries. When we got the SIM card, it worked fine in Canada. But it did not work in other countries (Germany, India, etc.) And now back in Canada, it does not work either even though we've tried many things to solve the issue. Customer Support is terrible - the call centre employees are not helpful and do not know what they are doing (not their fault - poor training undoubtedly). For the $30 I paid for the SIM card, it is simply not worth the aggravation to deal with this issue anymore. iRoam has lost a customer and I will definitely not recommend to anyone.

I use the I'roam SIM card in North western Arizona (Lake Havasu City) and there was no coverage by T-Mobile so I could not use it. I also tried to use it in Tucson Arizona and there was no coverage so I could not connect. The card only worked 30% of the time in other places in Arizona and the it takes a very long time to connect to a wireless network. It worked in Las Vegas so it seems a to usable only in major cities.
