Here is an interesting possible unintended consequence.  When Medicare was passed under Johnson, it was set up so that Medicare could dictate what they would pay and Doctors had/ have the choice of not accepting Medicare, and if they did, they had to accept the payment the Government set..

It is my proposal that this is what caused the unholy game of escalation of medical costs when Private Insurance Companies saw a good deal and started playing lets make a deal with the providers trying to save a buck, cutting us out of the loop and setting themselves up to be the Gate way to health-care.

Quick fix.. make it illegal for the two to negotiate with each other.   Doctors and other providers set their prices, Insurance companies sell plans based on reimbursement amount to the consumer and we get real choices again.

I get to pick my plan say I want them to only pay catastrophic expenses and pay according, and pay for the rest out of pocket.  By the way, medical prices will drop close to 50% and pharmaceutical prices could drop as much as 70%

And I get to start shopping for prices instead of being told where I must go for services.

This is actually very much more in line with capitalism and to please the left, open Medicare for those that want it and those that need help with the costs.

I only watched the first one, but I fully intend to watch the rest, plus at the end of this one, they showed even more videos that look really interesting.
[Documentary] What makes us good or evil? (Part 1/4) [YouTube] http://mys.tc/1gu

"What makes us good or evil? It’s a simple but deeply unsettling question. One that scientists are now starting to answer.

Horizon meets the researchers who have studied some of the most terrifying people behind bars – psychopathic killers.

But there was a shock in store for one of these scientists, Professor Jim Fallon, when he discovered that he had the profile of a psychopath. And the reason he didn’t turn out to be a killer holds important lessons for all of us.

We meet the scientist who believes he has found the moral molecule and the man who is using this new understanding to rewrite our ideas of crime and punishment."

This is how I see it!
"So let's review. It's Passover season, when crowds pour into the city, political hope is high and the authorities are on guard. Jesus stages Occupy Jerusalem. He processes into the city, crowds acclaiming the arrival of Israel's king. He occupies the Temple, disrupting its legitimate business. He characterizes accommodation to Rome as idolatry, and he accuses the Temple authorities of exploiting the poor. All the while, the crowds are watching. So are the authorities. In what sense, exactly, is Jesus an innocent victim?"
