Went to this place on a beautiful Sunday morning. We wanted a table outside on the edge to get a better view of the water so we just had to wait a very short 15 mins (ran over to check out some of the Old Sacramento shops to kill some time). Their Eggs Benedict was good. Nothing to write home about but the view makes up for it. My wife tried their Vegetable Omlette and it was very good. The plate prices were very reasonable. Definitely would go for brunch again with some friends, there's not too many places in town to get a Benedict with a view.

They sat me at a table with spiderwebs on it, did not refill water or bread even though the waiter said he would, the food was not that great and the portions were small. Also, the menu was more expensive than the one Google linked me to. At least the river views were nice and the plating of the food was very beautiful. Maybe I'd have gotten better service inside?

Just okay. Only worth going to due to the restaurant's location right off the river. There is a lot of outdoor seating with a great view. The food is mediocre.

We came in, the greeted us very well. Our survey seemed to b eather drunk a little or simply did not care much. When we finally came around to our order we got appetizers and after had to wait over an hour for our food. When we asked what was the wait when they were not even busy that night. They said they just put in an order that they were waiting for my husband to finish on the salad. I asked y did our food had to b put on hold when he was the only one who had salad and all of the rest 4 ppl had ordered food. He gave me lame excuse did not even apologize. When we finally got our food it was good. I can't say say it was bad, maybe not great but good. The fruity alcohol drinks are not good there either. This is my second time there and I will have to admit I was disappointed twice. It was dirty a little 2. I don't now how in side we sat outside both times but there were spider webs and carpet seemed kind of old too . Chairs and tables could use and up date if they tried. It was a fair place. But for there prices for plates and location u expect better quality then this.

We tried the San Francisco sourdough stuffed with cheese as an appetizer and it was simply great. It must have been only 6 ingredients but the flavors were all there. For the main course I had the tenderloin and it was juicy and cooked to perfection. My wife had the wild salmon on asparagus and wild mushroom risotto and that was great too. Although the main course took over 30 min to arrive it was welcomed because thats how long risotto takes to cook. Do not pass up the Tiramisu for dessert, so fluffy, and cocoa-ly, just heavenly.

All rivers lead to the sea, including Sacramento’s Rio City Café. This culinary casting brings an authentic and warm-hearted slice of Old Sacramento, spawning to its finest. This great establishment, pays homage to the denizens of the deep, offering scrumptious seafood with no catch, no fusion confusion, flashy lures or over-priced raw nibbles that leave you hankering for a hamburger. You won’t find anything out of a jar here; everything is made fresh. You’ll get hooked on the Clam Chowder, Salmon or the daily selection of fresh fish, all at a price that won’t leave you feeling like you were caught, hook, line and sinker. The value in itself is worthy of repeated encores. Don’t let this be the big one that got away.

The served my wife Escolar, a fish that is banned in several countries. We thought we would give it another chance so we went back yesterday for dinner with my dad and we all got seriously sick and we all ate something different. I had yellowtail my wife had salmon and my dad had chicken skewers with Greek marinade. We are never going there again.

Gino took fantastic pictures for us! He shot many of our food items, various ways we accommodate our banquets & large parties, and took outside patio view photos... all in four hours! He told me in advance what to do and we achieved greatness in this short amount of time thanks to him! A pleasure to work with!
