Celebrity tips: what you should do on Instagram

Some say that to get popular on Instagram you have to be either very famous in real life, or very rich and eager to show it, or beautiful and photogenic. Many others disagree and we are on their side: anyone can become famous, so here are 6 tips from hot & wealthy stars on how to make your Instagram better.

@blakelively: Tip: open your mouth when you smile—like you're having the time of your life

@laurenconrad: Instagrams don’t always have to be square. While I prefer most of mine to be squared off, I do think some photos can look much better when they are horizontal or vertical. There are many apps out there to help you size a horizontal image appropriately for Instagram while keeping the background clean. Try using Whitagram or Afterlight.

@kendalljenner: We actually like to keep it really simple. It's all about knowing your light and angles

@songofstyle: Natural lighting is always best

@taylorswif: What gets tricky is when something great happens and you didn't capture it, then you feel this sense of loss. That sense of loss and anxiety that you didn't get to your phone fast enough then completely overtakes the magic of the moment that just took place. So lately, I've learned to really live my life, and not worry so much about documenting every split second of it. The most magical, exquisite, spontaneous things happen when there is no time to grab your phone.

@kimkardashian: Posting more than three photos from one event is in poor taste, as it clogs up your followers' feeds. Stick to three or fewer, and you're in the social media clear.

I tried JustUnfollow and all i can say is it’s not as good as it looks like at the first sight. First of all, i came there not to schedule something, or check others’ followers, i needed to unfollow an amount of users, massive enough to exceed instagram restrictions. Good thing i found https://fast-unfollow.com, it only offers mass unfollowing service, and it works just great doing about 5k unsubscriptions a day. 1000 unfollows for free granted to new users is also a nice touch. And btw thanks for advising Primary, don’t know how i lived before=)

This is a very good list, all the apps are very helpful. It’s great how third-party apps can easily cover almost any need one can feel. Editing apps were always the most widely used, and there was only one domain not covered. And i’m talking about follower management. But since instagram has implemented its following and action per hour limitations, the need has risen significantly. The best app i could find yet is fast-unfollow.com, it can quickly get rid of up to 5000 users not following back per day, so if your a fan of follow-to-follow method - it’ll help you a lot. First 1000 is free so check it out. I think you guys can benefit greatly from this app ;)

These are good advises, but I'm afraid you've missed one very important aspect - following management. But that is the key to success - to engage lots of people into your account's life. The most reliable way to do so is to contact as many users with similar interest as possible. Those interests can be places you visit, filters you use, objects you picture. And, of course, you have to follow them, hoping they will follow you back. But even if you've done everything right, commented and liked their photos, more than a half of them won't. That's absolutely normal, that's how it works, nothing to be worried about. But now you need to get rid of those who is not interested in you, and there's one easy way to accomplish the task - to use an automated unsubscription service. I've been using this method for years since the early twitter era, but in Instagram there was nothing for mass unfollowing. But the game has changed since this awesomeness appeared - fast-unfollow.com. It is capable of unfollowing up to 5000 users per day, and you're granted 1000 free unsubscriptions once you have registered. A hookah bar i've been promoting using this technique got almost hundred new real customers in a month - they almost doubled the amount of visitors who, in their turn, provided a good web presence for the bar.
