Did some grinding, some sawing, and some welding today. Good for the head.

They say a little grinding is always good for the head. Sawing and welding sounds a little painful. But hey to each his own.

Extremely fresh ingredients, clean restaurant, staff is very friendly and welcoming. Steak is juicy and char grilled. Salsas are classic hot green tomatillo and mild red tomato cilantro. Portions are generous. Prices are very good. Been coming here since they opened and they are very consistent. Always the same staff, cooks are taco pros! Try the steak tacos, the vegetarian toatada is a nice alternative. My favorite classic Mexican in the city.

This review is for the service and parts department as i have yet to buy a car here. Service: I don't trust many places to touch my cars. I can be sure that City VW Autobarn will correctly inspect and diagnose the issue, and fix it quickly and correctly. The difference here is the staff. They are properly trained and genuinely like what they do. Most are VW enthusiasts and have a respect for vehicles that many other shops lack. There's no snobby attitude either, they don't treat you differently if you're driving a not so new car. Straightforward attitude and no hard sell or exaggerating the scope of repairs. Parts: Owning old high mileage European cars like I do means for me doing as much of the work on them as I can, as properly done work does not come cheap. I have gotten into projects that I had not procured all the necessary parts in advance, or ran into additional issues. Who you gonna call on a Saturday or after work when you want to finish a project? Well, they are there surprisingly late on weeknights, and on Saturday too! The parts guys are super friendly, knowledgeable, careful, and quickly get you what you need. Again, great attitude and service.
