TESTIMONIAL - We just received a lovely update!

Hi, we just wanted to share something with you all…

Yesterday night, we were SO proud of M and how his skills of being independent continue to grow. Mr. K has been going with M through-out the community. One of the goals has been for him to make small purchases with cash.
This, actually, has entailed many details: getting him to wear shorts with pockets/making sure he had no holes in his pocket/being certain he had some money in those pockets, etc. etc. etc.
So, we attended a Labor Day church festival. E and I gave M some small bills: ones and a five, through-out the evening.
Long story short: M made his purchases-by himself. More than that, he roamed the church indoors and outdoors to buy things (wearing a bright orange shirt so he could be easily spotted by us).
**He was so happy!
**His face was beaming…because he was being age-appropriately independent.

Thanks so much for helping us to get this far !
E and C

Patient Testimonial

Hi,Ms C:

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated our discussion this evening.

It is very helpful to be able to brainstorm/bounce ideas with someone who really understands the spectrum.

E and I continue to be super excited at M.A.’s on-going progress.

Warm regards,
CA
