Standing on a small island of branches on the Whiteadder river yesterday trying to get some close ups of a dragonfly. My 300mm macro lens is bust so had to improvise with a 55mm lens.

Whiteadder river in full bloom today before the thunderstorm. disappointing lack of blossom trees at this spot compared to other parts of the river which I hope to be able to get some photos of before the petals all fall off.

Interesting piece of work by Janice Ykema, which won an art competition last year.

Is it a coincidence that the colours of the chickens match the colours of the chickens in the photo-design parody of Abbey Road I did 3 years ago?

Chicken Abbey Road Revisited - for #RecordStoreDay 2017

Two and a half years later, the same old road that goes up Euchan in the Southern Uplands of Scotland, this time in the middle of winter (sorry no snow)

Some of the vegetation at the side of the road has been cleared and the signs in the road are to warn the contructions workers to look out for walkers on the road, as they are building a wind farm up there at the moment.

Using recent artwork for Acid Reign's new guitarist, Paul of the new line-up, for their recent April Fools 2017 tour poster, and reproduced here with kind permission.

I'd like to know where all my albums went? The format changed a while back and albums are now called collections, only someone forgot to migrate our albums over to that. I've now lost everything I had previously spent a lot of time organising my work into. Or at least it looks that way?

View of the Whiteadder this eve, from a spot that normally quite inaccessible but due to the dry spell and lack of vegetation...
